KitchenAid KFP0722CU 7-Cup Food Processor : It’s best if you read the whole review

A food processor i really like. The first food processor i owned was a robot coupe – it was perfect, but is no longer made. The second food processor i owned was a cuisinart – apparently designed by lawyers and helicopter moms. It had so many safety features that it was a nuisance to put together much less to wash. Many times i stood in by the counter holding a carrot that i wanted to grate, only to decide it would be easier to slice it with a knife than put the cuisinart together. It was almost a relief when the cuisinart bowl finally cracked. The kitchenaid is easy to put together and easy to wash. I love the slice thickness feature – it works as advertised. Love having two ways to grate on one disk. Love making homemade nut butters (no added oil for peanut butter and very little added oil for almond butter).

Perfect size for us empty nesters.

Works better than i expected. Works better than i expected. Some reviews said it was loud but i didn’t find it over loud at all, just a serious, working machine.

It’s best if you read the whole review. I own many many kitchenaid appliances. I gave away my 12 cup pro version. I don’t cook that big anymore. The giant teenagers that roamed the house have left the building. I was afraid i would be disappointed at stepping down. I really like the one blade slide adjust thickness slicer.

This is okay for light shredding but if you try. This is okay for light shredding but if you try to grate mozzarella cheese you have to go slow or the motor will overheat and turn off until it cools down. When grating cheese the cheese builds up on top of the disc, which is a pain. I would not purchase this again but it works for small quick projects. It is very lightweight compared to my cuisinart.

Had very good success with purchasing reconditioned products on amazon – this. Had very good success with purchasing reconditioned products on amazon – this was no exception. Very sturdy, excellent quality. My first and most likely last food processor.

Kitchen aid 7 cup food processor. My old kitchen aid food processor got lost when we moved. It’s great to have the replacement at my fingertips and i got it at a really good price from amazon.

Best food processor i’ve ever bought. Best food processor i’ve ever bought. Please make sure you’re putting the lid on correctly or it won’t turn on(this happened to me when i first bought it and thought it was broken). Overall, really glad i bought this.

It works but i’m not thrilled with it. The touch buttons are very difficult to push. I contacted kitchenaid about the issue and got very little support. Basically they documented it or claimed to and that was that. I wish i had returned it but for no more than i use it, i’ll make do. Doesn’t do a very good job of chopping pecans.

It’s too big if you don’t have the counter space. Works great the sliding thickness feature is a little overrated though. I used it at the thickest setting, but my squash cut based on how it was inserted so the sizes varied. Just be sure to orient the top so it closes properly or it won’t work at all. They changed the size to a larger footprint so it takes up more space on the counter. I gave my old one away and kinda wished i’d kept it for the smaller size. Plus all the attachments are larger too.

Love this food processor, it grates a fine grate and a thicker grate, it also has a blade that slices you can adjust the thickness of the slices, i have used it and it works very well, i am happy with this product it is much better than other food processor that i have owned in the past. There is also a chopping blade to chop and grind.

So compact, does all kinds of chopping.

Have been making all sorts of things in it. It is so simple, so easy to clean. The last one i had had so many pieces and was such a pain to clean, i never used it.

Wonderful food processor, chops up almost everything i toss at it. Mostly use it to course of action foods that i feed my pet dogs ( feed them raw ) and threw a leg quarter in there ( bone and all ) and this processor went by way of it without having a hiccup.

I bought this over two years in the past as a refurb, and it even now is effective quite dependably, but the work bowl base is really large and the blade does not occur down really close to the perform bowl foundation, so i frequently have a several issues caught beneath the blade and not finding processed (these as a couple chickpeas that really don’t get pureed when building hummus). So, i use this device now generally for slicing and shredding with the discs.

Variable slicing thickness is excellent. Primarily the variable thickness on slicing.

Obtained it nowadays, works but difficult to retailer. Just received it now and designed home made coconut flour with it, labored as effectively as my initially food processor in accomplishing the task. Cleaned it up and went to set it absent and identified that there is no safe and sound way to retail store this and the blades it comes with. Only 1 blade suits in the equipment at a time. The slicing blade is permanently attached to its submit generating it not possible to set in a bubble envelope and keep in a flat drawer (which is what i have finished for the earlier food processor). They will never even suit in any of my tupperware. I have the chopping/slicing blade (the a single that appears to be like a bigger edition of what is in the base of the blender) in the machine, with the slicing and shredding blades hanging out the side, since the submit of the slicing is in the container portion. It is too big and tall to in good shape in any of my cabinets, so will have to stay on the counter as unattractive as it is. This truly is very poor structure and i are unable to advise this due to the fact of the err of this incredibly crucial safety thought. I’ll in all probability just hold it given that i do not have children.
