I got this for about 17 dollars at a kitchen store. Love it that cupcakes are done in only six minutes and cool enough to eat or ice about 5 minutes after that. I fill up 7 cups on the counter and put them in when all are filled, so there are no drips or mess on the cupcake baker and it needs nothing more than a quick wipe to clean it up, and so that all cupcakes are in the baker for the same amount of time and bake evenly. I’m using a gluten free mix and mini silicone baking cups. I tried using it without cups, but my cupcakes burned on the bottom before they were done– keep in mind this is with the gluten free mix (and a homemade mix using coconut flour). I do not know what it would do with a traditional cake mix. I also make betty crocker gluten free brownies in it using mini silicone baking cups. I double the butter in the recipe so it is thinner and bake them for 15 minutes. I think it made close to 3 dozen mini brownies. I use a plastic knife (so it doesn’t scratch non stick surface) to lift the silicone cups up to remove them from the baker.
I actually now have two of these. They make great small cupcakes, and i have used it for making other types of food, like quiche. It is easy to clean, and i have used this almost daily since buying it.
This works, but i do not see any advantage to it over a mini pan that goes in the oven. It gets very hot so if you want to do multiple batches it get to hot to work with. Taking the cupcakes out is difficult without burning yourself so because of that it is not good for children, imo. It does cook uniformly, but takes a while since you can only do 6 at a time.
It makes the perfect size cupcakes and they come out fluffy.

I really love this cupcake maker. Being empty nesters this is just what we needed. I make a batch of muffins and freeze them. The one bite size make these cakes great for on the go.
I bought this and used it for the first time yesterday. I was so impressed with how simple it was to use and how fast the cupcakes cooked they we’re delicious too.
I wanted a cupcake maker for real cupcakes — not minis. The add really didn’t indicate it wa for mini cupcakes. I bought it and will use it as a wedding gift. I still want a cupcake maker for regular size cupcakes. Anyone out there know where i can get one?.
After our oven broke, i was on the lookout for a regular size cupcake maker. Being unable to find the sunbeam fpsbcml900 cupcake mixer, pink at any stores nearby, i decided to go for a mini cupcake maker and chose the bella cucina 13465 cupcake maker. I was concerned that the lower price of the bella cucina would mean an inferior product, but i needn’t have worried. The mini cupcake maker is a breeze to operate. Both the yellow and green lights will light up. Wait until only the yellow light is lit, and you’re ready to bake. You can put your cupcake mix right into the cupcake maker (be sure and spray it with some cooking spray to make it easier to get your cupcakes out), but i prefer to avoid any unnecessary clean up and pop some mini cupcake liners (i like wilton mini baking cups: white, 100/pkg. Put your batter in the cupcake liners and put the lid down. To get perfectly sized mini cupcakes, i like to use a chefmate stainless steel coffee scoop to put the batter into the cupcake liners. You can pick one up at target, it’s around $3. It’s a lot cheaper than most of the mini cookie scoops that some cupcake bloggers recommend. Once the cupcake maker lid is down, set a timer for 10 minutes.
I love my bella cucina cupcake makeri love this maker. First time i saw it i thought it won’t last or do a good job. I have used mine many times for continuous using and it works perfectly without burn smell. For sure i will buy another one.
This mini cupcake maker bakes the cupcakes fast. No dial to adjust the temp, you need to check it again and again. It bakes bottom , not the top, so i flippedit over and baked the top for about another minute. Would have liked to havethe cupcake maker do most of the work. . Is the cupcakes are small and you get to eat a few. Taste great if you don’t burn them.
Non stick surface makes it very easy to clean.
Definitely requires cupcake liners. The first couple of tries when using it without the liners, the muffins got burnt and there was smoke everywhere. With the liners, the bottom of the muffin still gets burnt but it’s ok as the burnt portion is usually left stuck to the liner when eating the muffin. To ensure even cooking, i will fill the cupcake liners and then pop them all it at one go. Watch out for the hot steam when you open the cover. I’ve tried a few recipes, and most require cooking time of about 5-5. The wire cord is really short. I barely have any clearance from the wall when i am using the cupcake maker.
This is the funnest, greatest cupcake maker. Very easy to use, you get a quality product (cupcake) and easy to clean. I would recommend this maker highly.
I’ll be honest, this cupcake maker seemed really gimmicky at first, but my fiancee is gluten intolerant, but she loooves cupcakes, so i wanted to get her a gift that was fun and would let her enjoy her favorite food more oftenovrall, i’ve found that i really love a lot of things about it:first of all, it heats up waaay faster than my oven does, so for a quick dessert or even a snack, making muffins or cupcakes are now a feasible option for us. Its fast, and cleanup involves no more than a paper towel. Second, the size of the cupcakes has helped us be healthy while still enjoying ourselves. Rather than eating an entire cupcake or muffin, you can just make some mini ones, and have one or two and not have to run 5 miles to burn the calories. Third, something about the size of the cupcakes makes the cupcakes a little better; the surface area of the cupcake as a proportion of the volume is much higher on a mini cupcake than a regular sized one (yes, i’m a nerd). Basically, this means that you end up with a higher % of your cupcake or muffin being the outside “crust” (everyone prefers the top of the muffin, its a fact). Because of this, once your cupcakes/muffins look golden on the outside in this cupcake maker, its highly likely they’re thoroughly cooked inside too. Lastly, its just fun to use.
Our 8 yeat old granddaughter called us a few days after christmas excitedly to tell us how much fun she was having making cupcakes with her bella cucina cupcake maker. My son was her helper and said that the cupcakes cam out great and that clean up was easy.
They can make vietnamese (sticky rice and coconut milk) really easy now. My big extended families love the treat.
These work so well i had to put it away. It’s fast super easy to clean.
Made some honey cornbread mini muffins for mom. When oiled in the cooking indentions, the muffins never got stuck. Heats up so fast, great for a rushed breakfast. Just the right size for guess/parties. I was shocked at the reasonable price, that’s why i bought it. I searched on amazon for days. Can’t find in my area for the same price, too high here.
Honestly, i should have got an easy bake oven. This appliance is not worth the $. . Maybe $15 would be a better price. My son has been unable to get the cupcakes to cook completely and they don’t have the rise real muffins do.
A+ i run a small bed and breakfast and sometimes there is only one couple. The cupcake maker is great to use without heating up the big oven.
Sent it to my granddaughter, who i hope will enjoy it.
I bought this product as a gift for my roommate, who loves baking and especially cupcakes. We continuously have cupcakes around the apartment. It seems to bake evenly, and i love mini-cupcakes because they are just bitesize as opposed to the regular cupcakes that dont fit so well in your mouth. Nevertheless, you can only make 7 little cupcakes at a time. So if you want to make a whole batch, you’ll be standing over this cupcake maker forever. My roommate whips up the batter and stores it in the fridge to make cupcakes fresh about every day. Well, the batter isn’t totally fresh, but within a few days, everything seems to still rise just fine and tastes great. I would definitely recommend this product, be beware of how small they are/how few you can make at a time.I can’t wait to try muffins.
