Weston 10 Tray Stainless Steel Food Dehydrator – Highly recommend if you are looking for quality and speed in

They sent it back, wish i had it for myself now but we ended up with a much cheaper one, oh well.

I got this dehydrator and it worked wonderful for about 3 weeks. There is a warrenty, but you still have to pay to ship this big heavy item to oh. Pay a 35 dollar and hour bench fee and pay to ship it back and hope none of the shipping caused other problems. It would be better to get it fixed near where i live. If i can find someone whom can actualy do it. I still have my old reliable nesco american harvest and an oven. I gave it three stars because it worked great when it was running. It just did not run long enough to be worth the money paid for it. Update: the company has been very responsive so far and said/wrote it was most likely the heating element.

This machine is high quality and met all my expectations. Highly recommend if you are looking for quality and speed in cooking time.

This is a great dehydrator and the price is right on, it functions very well and produces great results however it isn’t perfect. The edges are all a little sharp, and assembly of the rails for the racks is a little tough because of quality control. The timer unit stopped functioning within the first month of use and disassembly revealed that the module is defective due to a poor spring contact design, with use it will inevitably weaken arch and fail, it can be manually fixed and cleaned but it would have been nice not to have to mess with it. After three months of using it the blower motor burnt up which isn’t a surprise because it has a heating element directly surrounding it and is poorly ventilated i am surprised it lasted as long as it did because just using it cooks itself. I haven’t thrown it away though because i like it enough to fix it, with some improvements of course.

Very happy with this machine. I’ve dried fruit and fish so far. Looking forward to dehydrating chicken breasts for my dogs.

My family and i have long used smaller, ‘passive’ dehydrators (that is, the circular plastic ones with just a heating element). We switched for two reasons: first, i was tired of waiting 10-20 hours for some things to dehydrate. Second, and more importantly, the plastic dehydrators are all made out of polycarbonate. Terrific if you want bisphenol-a in your food. What’s more, because these devices all heat up, they’re even more likely to leach bpa into your food. So i went for a stainless steel dehydrator, which necessitates spending a good deal more money. What a difference this device makes. Even with all the racks filled to capacity, the food dehydrates completely in a few hours rather than half a day or more. The temperature’s adjustable, there’s a timer with automatic shutoff, and the interior and shelves are all very easy to clean.

  • Fast, safer dehydrator with excellent capacity!
  • I have to give it 4 stars because I like it, but
  • Great machine at a great price

This dehydrator works well, but is very loud. The drying racks rattle and shake so much that i am thinking of putting in the basement–so i wont hear it as much. Another issue is that, as a raw foodist, you don’t want to heat food above 115 degrees (f). The label on the dial is way off with what the actual temp is (on mine. ) i used an oven thermometer to find where i need to actually set the temp control–for a temp range of around 110 degrees i have to set the knob to 130 degrees–so there is quite a bit of difference. Otherwise, i am amazed at how quickly it dehydrates fruits and veggies.

The door needs to have a tighter fit.

Saeco Vienna Deluxe SuperAutomatic Espresso Coffee and Cappuccino Machine – This is so easy to use!!

When we received this saeco cappuccino machine in the mail, it came with dvd, instructions and extra parts included. It was extremely easy to set it up and within minutes of getting it set up, we were enjoying a fantastic cup of latte. We have owned an espresso machine in the past, but it was nothing like this one. It grinds, compresses and dispenses the espresso automatically and the frother has the milk steamed in about half the time of our old machine. The saeco machine is easy to clean and my husband loves to make the coffee in the morning now. I have had no difficulty with this machine at all. The only comment i have is that it would be even nicer if it was easy to switch from caffeinated to decaffeinated beans for those times when we’d like to brew a decaf cup.

I bought this machine not from amazon but from another place, but this machine paid for itself within months. No more frustrations at waiting in line at one of the over priced chain coffee shops and getting a bad drink at the end of the wait. This is simply awesome, no mess since it grinds, tamps and brews and stores the grounds that you can empty. This machine is going strong after 3 years. Those who complained that it broke down obviously did not know how to use it or treated it badly. I highly recommend it and have two more friends who are using it with great success.

This was my first purchase of a higher-end machine and i made the right choiceit makes better coffee then my local starbucks and is very easy to use. Here are the specifications for the Saeco Vienna Deluxe SuperAutomatic Espresso Coffee and Cappuccino Machine:

  • Make sure this fits
    by entering your model number.
  • Rapid-Steam frothing and brewing without waiting or changing the temperature
  • Opti-Dose allows adjusting the coffee amount to be ground, from 6 to 9 grams
  • Removable brew group for easy rinsing; convenient swivel base
  • High-quality conical burr grinder delivers consistent, even, and fine grinding
  • Ships within US only; does not ship to Canada

It still woks well even though i have used it since 2007. It requires a hard decafinated french roast bean. It probably needs to be sent to the factory for refurbishing.

I ordered my machine from amazon and it arrived in early sept. Out of the box it was defective – water poured through the machine. The paperwork in the box indicated that i had to work directly with the manufacturer on returns. So i started the process with saeco usa. They are only open east coast hours, i am on the west coast. They rarely answer the phone – 9 out of 10 calls go to voicemail and are never returned. They promised to ship a repair part overnight – two weeks went by, no part, no call. Finally, i contacted amazon, who shipped me a new unit and i shipped back my defective one. The unit makes decent coffee – but you have to heat the milk before steaming or frothing – the machine doesn’t generate enough heat to convert cold milk to hot and steamy.

  • Saeco espresso maker
  • Excellent machine

It’s so great to be able to make my latte before i leave the house. I don’t have to waste 15 minutes going to starbucks (except when i’m low on beans. ) a $10 bag will make many, many servings. Plus, this way i don’t have to worry about it being too weak, as sometimes happens. 15 minutes three times a week, 51 weeks out of the year = 38.

My first 1 lasted 5+ years, my second lasted 1 year. While disappointed, i still think this is a great machine.

Overall i am quite pleased with it, but make no mistake about it, you are spending $500+ for a small appliance. Pluses – makes consistently good tasting coffee – convenience of making coffee is simple as a push of 1 or 2 buttons and turning a dial. – no coffee filters to change – no beans to grind – relatively easy to clean (tip: buy citric acid from a nutrition store to clean/descale it). – conversation piece – not many people have such an expensive coffee machine. You will be surely asked how much it costs. – you will drink more coffee as another review states. This maybe a con?minuses – documentation is in many languages, sometimes hard to read. Go to the saeco web site and download the english only version pdf. , print it out for convenience. – you’ll buy more coffee beans as it loads dosages for each serving.

Makes one cup at a time at the push of a button (without wasteful coffee sitting in the coffee pot. Hardy and long lasting machine. A work horseunderstand the type of coffee you use with these machines. If using oily coffee, you must set the grinder to coarser setting; clean the brew group regularly and lubricate the brew group. Oily coffee pastes and causes stress on moving parts if not cleaned/maintained. This machine works best with true italian roast coffee as it does not paste so minimal maintenance. Descaling these machines is a must or it will result in component damage. Descale the machine every 3 months to remove calcium build-up ; coffee will also taste better and water flow will be much better.

This coffeemaker is amazing. The foam is wonderful and it has never let us down. Yes, it’s a bit noisy, but all of the automatic makers are noisy. Actually, it’s quieter than the delonghi that we got on sale from starbucks and which we use for decaf in the evenings. Anyway, my only grief is that it appears the rubber grommet that seals the bottom of the water tank may be failing. I don’t see parts listed for this maker on the saeco website so i don’t know what the future holds. But we are a busy, highly-wired coffee-drinking household so this machine has certainly done its duty and i’d recommend it to anyone.

My brother has one; he got it because my sister has one. . So i had to get one – and i love it. Great machine and easy to clean. I have to admit, though, after about a month of use and really loving the coffee, my wife asked me ‘is it worth the money?’. The cost of this machine is very high compared with your standard 10 cup brewer, but i love it. And if you can part with the $$, i’m sure you’d love it too.

This is the best coffee/espresso maker that i have ever owned and i just love this coffee/espresso maker. I’ve been to italy where i thought i had tasted the best espresso and this machine makes espresso as good as what i had in italyit is consistent every time in the espresso and the coffee that it makes. It has turned into a conversation piece when guests come to the house. Everyone is amazed at how simple it is to use. At the touch of a buttton, it will automatically grind your beans, tamp the ground coffee, make the espresso and expel the grinds. I’ve owned other espresso machines in the past and they usually ended up in the garage as they were too cumbersome to use. The ease of this machine has made it an asset in this household. Yes this machine is on the pricey side. But when you calculate how much you spend at your local starbucks or espresso bar in a year, this machine definitely pays for itselfi use this machine daily and have had no problems with it.

They were wonderful to deal with.

I used to be a tea drinker, but since the first week of september, i’ve been drinking 2 cappuccinos a daythe machine is so easy to use and takes. I had the ‘manual’ espresso machine. But i rarely used it since i could only make 2 cups at one time & it took 15 minutes to cool down & 5 minutes to clean. I admit, i watched the video that came with it, and i haven’t had a single problem. It came w/ a 1lb bag of lavazza oro (the gold bag). The only thing you may want to order is a stainless frothing pitcher. I agree with other posters that the machine is a bit big. In fact there’s just a few inches clearance from the cabinets above. However, since the entire thing rotates, it’s easy to load fresh water & beans. The size makes it an eye-catcher in my kitchen.

I did extensive research before purchasing this automatico. The machine makes about 10-12 cups of coffee or espresso a day. I do wish the water was just slightly warmer, however as long as you heat your cup first with hot water from sink or the machine the coffee will be very hot. I just empty the spent coffee and the waste water at the end of the day. In the morning i add fresh filtered water from the refrigerator. Once a week i take out the internal brewing gizmo (simple) and rinse it in hot water. I enjoy espressos frequently.

Well, i am on my third cup of delicious capuccino (can you tell how fast i’m typing?). I bought my vienna deluxe with some reservations because of the negative reviews of saeco’s customer service. Last night, ups arrived with my machine and i set it up. No matter what i tried i couldn’t get the machine pump to prime itself. I watched the video tape, i read the instructions, and nothing. I was really upset, and thought ‘great. I already have a problem and from what i’ve read in the reviews, customer service is bad. I looked up the saeco us website, no help there. I sent an email to customer support via the website, expecting that i wouldn’t get a speedy reply. This morning at 6:30 my time, i called the 800 customer service number that came with the machine (they were closed last night). On the second ring, a real person picked up.She immediately helped me and my machine is working fine.

We’ve had the machine for over 3 years and yes, we use it every day. That said, when you purchase a machine at this price, you expect it to perform over the long haul when it is used every day for only two people. We have used it at parties, perhaps 4 times in the three years we have it and only to make 6 – 8 capuccinos or espressos. Nonetheless, it no longer pressurizes (panel is no good). As perfect as the coffee is, we will be looking at other options.

We researched all the various machines and settled on a less expensive pod machine from another manufacturer. We found the pods difficult to find and the machine somewhat lacking. We returned that machine in a matter of days. Increasing our budget, we researched more espresso makers before finally purchasing the saeco vienna deluxe in january 2004. This machine has been a pleasure everyday since. The vienna deluxe is an easy machine to use. One should ensure there is cold filtered water in the reservoir, quality beans in the hopper, and room for discarded grounds in the bin below. Incidentally the used grounds are a benefit for gardens and lawns. The machine should be routinely cleaned to keep in good working order. Saeco created a machine that is relatively easy to clean and user friendly for the typical consumer.

After buying coffee makers sometimes twice per year, and given that my recent marriage created a ‘she likes her coffee very strong, and i like mine regular’ issue, i decided to invest the $600 in this machine. It is truly incredible (so far. We’ve had it for about 4 months now. The striking features are the ease of use, quickness of making a custom cup of coffee (less than a minute), and it’s heavy usage. We make 10-20 cups per day often. The coffee that comes out of this machine is truly unbeleivable. It has a slightly creamy taste, and i have never tasted coffee this good – even at a starbucks. We have tried different types of beans (even sam’s club’s kona beans are great. The coffee is so good that some of my 19 year old’s son’s friends have taken up drinking coffee and come here often just for ours. The machine has had no problems (knock on wood. The only down sides are the water reservoir which must be manually filled (probably holds enough for 4-6 cups depending on the size you choose).

I’ve had my vienna deluxe since 2003. It makes great coffee & espresso and has given me zero problems since i purchased it. I can’t speak for the company’s products since they were purchased by phillips but mine is perfect.

Too bad saeco discontinued this baby. It was a monster at expresso, lattes and capucino. If i’d known how to get it refurbished, maybe it’d still be at my beck and call. I really miss the old expresso days with saeco. Who do you trust to replace saeco?.

Blendtec HPA-611-25 Home HP3A Blender WildSide – with 4′ blade

Good product blends seeds and other hard items.

I purchased this blender in july last year and have been using it daily and love it. I use it mainly to make green smoothies to fortify my bones and include all sorts of leafy vegetables and this way i eat a much larger serving than i would in a salad or soup etc. I add other veggies too and a little bit of frozen fruits to make it more palatable, a chunk of ginger, sometime an entire avocado including the pit. No problem: it all comes out creamy and you get all the fibers (that’s a plus compare to the juicers). The pre-programmed settings make it very easy to use: i don’t have to ‘think’ when i prepare my smoothie first thing in the morning before leaving for work and i know i will have a very healthy meal for my day away from home. I purchased ‘green smoothies’ by v. Boutenko to learn optimum ways and get ideas for combining veggies. It is a little loud but it’s really not an issue for me. The square jar allows the food to blend well and you never need to go in with a spatula to get the stuff off the sides as it happens with round jars. Washing is a breeze: the jar doesn’t need to be put apart from the blade etc.

This is the best blender and juicer out there. I bought one of these at in-store costco and it is way cheaper than amazon. I just got mine about two weeks ago and i have been juicing and creating smoothies several times a day. The cleaning part of it is also amazing. It takes literally less than a minute to clean it. It is a bit loud though but that doesn’t bother me. I own a breville and this is just ten times better than that. I’m thinking of selling my breville in craiglist. Here are the specifications for the Blendtec HPA-611-25 Home HP3A Blender WildSide:

  • Make sure this fits
    by entering your model number.
  • Powerful 1560 watts, 120 volt, 13 amps, 3 peak h/p motor
  • 25 pre-programmed cycles tell the motor when to speed up, slow down and shut off automatically. includes four user-defined cycle buttons
  • Compact 15” height easily fits under kitchen cabinets
  • Includes a WildSide jar with 4” cold-forged stainless steel blade. Jar is made from durable BPA free Tritan copolyester.
  • Durable base made from industrial grade polycarbonate resists scratching and wear. flat, sealed face plate and buttons reduce unsanitary build up.

I was hesitant to spend this much money on a blender but i was wrong. I use our blendtec just about everyday for smoothies and processing.

I buy this one which is cost efficient than the vitamix 750 for myself, and bought the vitamix 750 for my sister. This one looks better, but the noise is larger than vitamix. However, the juice which is made by both the two blender is very good, almost the same.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Great but noisy blender
  • Great product and Great customer service
  • LOVE IT!

After having gone through 4 blenders in the last 8 years i decided to fork the money over for this blendtec blender. I should have purchased it much, much sooner. This blender makes the best smoothies ever. It doesnt grind the seeds from blackberries, but crushes the ice to a smooth consistency.

This blender does everything it promises to do. I was a little skeptical at first, but have been blown away since i first tried it. I would highly recommend it to everyone. I’m buying another one for my parents for father’s day. I would recommend going with the 3qt size container at a minimum. You’ll be surprised how much you’ll be blending once you start.

I’ve had several blenders and this blendtec by far is this best ever. I am very very pleased with it.

Later i want to make salsa with it when the tomatoes come in season. I wish i had this years ago.

I bought this blender because i was tired of my kitchenaid that simply could not crush ice, regardless of the setting. This blender, on the other hand, is amazing as far as handling ice goes. Ice goes in, cold beverage comes out. In fact, it is so good at crushing ice that you need to put in a lot more than you think you’ll need if you’re hoping to make a smoothie or shake. This thing turns ice into cold water. My only complaints are that it comes with a plastic jar which will scratch up over time and that it is far noisier than any blender i ever owned before. Even more than our old cuisinart, which i thought was pretty noisy. I wish i had one of those blender boxes like they use in smoothie shops to cut down on the noise. I can’t make a shake early in the morning without waking up the neighborhood. Other than that it is a fantastic blender thus far.

Very happy with my purchase, did a lot of research and glad i got the 4′ blade for ease of use.

After using and burning out previous ‘cheap’ blender, i am thrilled to be using my blendtec. It’s worth every dollar spent. Does great blending job which i needed for my fruit/veggie smoothies.

Does a good job at most tasks but it is incredibly loud. The pitcher is nice and wide.

This is a great blender, recommended by other users, they were right .

We did a lot of research between this and the vitamix. Decided to go with this one due to the reviews and the price. Use it every day for smoothies and juices.

Large container, very powerful. Bought as a gift for my son and his wife. They use it mainly for smoothies, but with the power it has i am sure it would make a fine chipper-mulcher. Although i am certain the manufacturer would not recommend it.

Terrific blender that does everything. Love it and use it daily to make smoothies, soups, almond butter, hummus. Only wish i had purchased this years ago. It replaces many of my other small appliances making my kitchen better organized and frees up cupboard space used for all my small appliances. This blendtec is attractive enough earn a permanent spot right on my counter. I bought this one on a daily deal at a great price. It was worth the wait and amazon customer service was great when i had to return the first one due to a cosmetic issue with the first digital screen. Don’t hesitate to buy this one.

I’ve had this blender for almost a year, and have been very satisfied with everything about it. First, the following is information that i put together as i was making my own purchase decision. Amazon has this same product available, in different colors and with different combinations of blending containers, in a bunch of separate listings (and in both the ‘home and kitchen’ sections as well as the ‘appliances’ section) and from different sellers (both amazon itself, and third party vendors). This makes it difficult to sort out what is available on amazon, and it also makes it very inconvenient to read through the reviewer comments since they are not all collected in one entry. To help sort through all of this the following is what i found in doing my own research on this product:- i believe that essentially there are basically two blendtec models currently listed on amazon differing only in the number of cycles that are preprogrammed:— one model is the ‘total blender’ as designated by blendtec. It comes packaged with either the ‘fourside’ blending jar, or the ‘wildside’ blending jar (see below for explanation of differences), or both. — various colors are available (black, white, or red)— the blender has a 1560 watt / 3 peak hp motor— it comes with a 7 year warranty (the various amazon entries have different warranty statements. My blender states 7 year warranty clearly on the box, and on the product registration card included with the blender). — the second model is the ‘home’ or hp3a model, which is not shown on the blendtec website but is available on amazon from various sellers. This model has the same base and motor and includes 25 preprogrammed cycles (see below for more detailed explanation).

Homeleader 2 speed Stainless Blades and Detached shaft Immersion Hand Blender – Wish it would have worked

Does what it says it will and certainly makes getting cream soups smoothed out in a hurry. I enjoy cooking but don’t enjoy whipping and beating forever and this tool greatly shortens the time in the kitchen. Have really enjoyed using it.

Only used it once and this is fantastic.

I am pleasantly surprised with this immersion blender. After reading through the mixed reviews i wasn’t sure what to expect but this works great. I use it mostly for soups and sauces (to hide veggies in it so my toddler will eat it). Here are the specifications for the Homeleader 2 speed Stainless Blades and Detached shaft Immersion Hand Blender:

  • Make sure this fits
    by entering your model number.
  • 2 Speed Control Buttons
  • Stainless Steel Blades and Powerful 220-watt Motor
  • Removable Stainless Shaft and Blades, easy to use and clean
  • Voltage: 120V AC, Frequency: 60 Hz
  • Comfort Grip Handle offers more control while operating

Easy to clean and very powerful.

I love making creamy soup now.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Daily use, no complaints
  • Handy for smoothies, pasta sauce, soups, and more!
  • Good blend.

We use an immersion blender almost daily in making blended coffee drinks. This one looked really nice, had the convenience of easy clean up with detaching the lower part and appeared to have plenty of power. Unfortunately, we ended up returning it because it did not fit to the bottom of any of our glasses. The bottom/blade area was too large to go more than 1/2 way into our glasses.

Didn’t have to wait long for delivery-shipped rather quickly. It is bigger and more bulky than i thought it would be, but works like a charm. It is also a louder than expected. Ordered the silver cup to go with it and i’m glad i did, because it fits perfectly and blends great. Only used it for shakes so far.

Perfect for my kitchen needs. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Plenty of power and very easy to clean because of detachable head.

I use this for mixing cold process soap and it’s held up well but does have it’s flaws. The button is starting to to ware out and greeting hard to push but it’s been used several times. The other thing i don’t care for is water gets trapped inside the base when cleaning so you can’t soak it, not even the blades. Overall it’s been a good mixer but not made for heavy use over a long period of time. For the price it’s a good mixer and easy to operate. Great for beginning soap makers.

It works well, but gets too hot for time required to bring soap to trace. Great for simple kitchen use, i’m sure, but not for soapmaking. I have to let it set and cool awhile (seems like a long while) in order to finish processing my product.

Only thing the base can scratch pan bottom.

Love this kitchen tool to blend soups.

Just don’t use it continuously for more than 10 minutes, if not it will heat and it takes a while to cool off. It does the job and i am very satisfied with it. The blade is pretty good and you can make any soup so easily. I also make hummus with it, which i prepare in turns to prevent it to over heat, no big deal unless you have a ‘we deserve it’ mentality, and if that is the case look for an industrial one. Not good for business use, only home employment.

Stick blender is noisy has a cheap feel to it. Not sure if it will hold up.

This product exceeded my expectation. I would definitely recommend this product for those who want just basic hand blender.

Larger than retail ones i have seen. I guess you could say it is more of an industrial or commercial model.

This device overheats much quicker than any other stick blender i have used.

I use this stick blender for soap making and have used it almost every day since it arrived. I have not had any problems and find this blender to be more powerful than i expected. In a few bursts, liquids are fully blended. I chose this blender based on the sturdy stainless steel bottom portion, which detaches, for easy cleaning. Based on the solid construction, this is a quality product.

Purchased this for making soap. I do like that you can separate it for easier cleaning which is the reason i purchased it.

Easy and handy to use in kitchen and easy to clean.
