Juiceman JCJ150S 40-Watt Automatic Citrus Juicer – Good product

I do not think this type juicer is even made anymore except for very pricey commercial versions. This is very easy to use and does a great job.

Purchased as a gift for an avid orange juicer. She was tickled pink and used it the first day at least three times. The best selling point is the two sizes of juicing cones, instead of just one. Not all fruit was created equally.

Juice a dozen lemons and limes an a minute or two. Perfect if you like to juice a couple lemons to store for a couple days.

It juiced great until it broke within a month. We were juicing 2 oranges and one lemon everyday for two of us and it was delicious and easy to clean. The hinge on the spout is made with microscopic plastic stems that hold the piece in. When i was washing it broke. The problem came when i contacted the company, no parts are available for this model and it can’t be fixed. It is now more difficult to clean as the spout falls off and time has to be taken to try and get it positioned again. However, after several contacts with the company, they were generous enough to replace the juicer with model jcj4000 which has nicer upgrade features and durability. I would not have purchased the first one if i knew it was out of production and parts were not available. The seller of course, doesn’t know that either.

I bought this juicer because of all those i looked at, it had consistently better reviews. Now i can see that the reviews were justified. I have never used a juicer that was as easy to clean as this one, and this is the fourth or fifth that i’ve owned. Juice your oranges, and then lift off the top assembly (the main juice-catching dish, the strainer and the juicing hub. All into the sink for a quick rinse and you’re done. You might want to find a suitable larger container to catch the juice, if you’re juicing for your family, but i just juice by the glassful, and it works just fine. Contrary to what a few have claimed, it has ample power to juice oranges, lemons, tangerines, and grapefruit (which is all i use it for). It’s got some substantial torque (this is a good thing), so yes, it will try to walk away from you if you don’t hold it down a bit. That really isn’t hard to do, unless you really have coordination problems. I’ve used it every morning since i got it, and it’s still looking clean and doing its job.

Using this primarily for getting the juice out of limes. This juicer is for extracting juice from citrus; remember that it is *not* a vegetable juicerworks well. Gets all of the juice out of limes. The reversing feature works sufficiently well. Sometimes it takes a couple of downward bumps of the juicer to reverse the juicer, but that’s really easy – not a complaint. I like the locking spout at the front of the juicer. This allows you to juice citrus without having to maintain the position of a juice receptacle right next to the juicer while juicing. While juicing, flip the spout into the up, or closed, position. After juicing, simply place your receptacle next to and underneath the spout when ready, then flip the spout downward, and let the juice flow into the receptacle. Then, flip the spout back up into the ‘closed’ position, set your receptacle aside, and resume juicing.

  • Best orange juicer I have ever used
  • Could use a few improvements
  • No one’s paying me to write this

Just a little clue about the two cones. The big one is on top of the little one and you have to pull it off with some gusto as it is on tight but is there. A little mystery solved for me at least. But i felt silly that i did not see it right away.

I purchased this product a few months ago and have been using it daily this summer for freshly juiced oranges. It is very easy to disassemble and clean quickly. (which is important to me) it looks nice on the counter and isn’t all that loud. You do have to use a shorter glass to fit under the spout that drains the orange juice down, although this really wasn’t an issue, i just poured the glass into another bigger glass and kept right on juicing. I have only used the large juicing cone, not that smaller one that comes with it also. It is an excellent replacement for my old braun that completely died.

I love this thing – i use it every single day. I don’t think i’ve ever spent a better $20. I juice oranges regularly and at least one lemon everyday. Once i had the spout turned up and no juice came down and when i realized what had happened i had juice everywhere, but other than that, this thing has worked wonderfully for me. I have a regular juicer too, but this one is my go-to juicer for citrus.

Excellent juicer that gets a lot of use at our home (we have 36 citrus trees in 9 varieties).

Got this out for the first time, cut my lemons in half and went to town. The reversing spin gets all the juice out very quickly. The only tricky part was finding the little cone as it fits so nicely inside the bigger one.

Does the job but has 2 issues:1- it’s not stable, when squeezing oranges this thing tends to not stick to the kitchen counter as well as our cheaper juicer2- you have to push down hard on the oranges, even more so than our older/cheaper squeezer.

This juicer is great for drinks. . The juice goes directly into your glass. Made very well and is easy to use. I couldn’t find it in any stores. My friend had one and i fell in love with it. Every kitchen should have this juicer.

This is one of the the best citrus juicers, its simple to use and easy to clean. I get more juice than i did with my old juicer. I would recommend this to any one who loves fresh o.

This is my first automatic citrus juicer and i really enjoy it. I like making fresh ‘drinks’ for friends who visit and this definitely takes me less time now then in the past when i had to hand squeeze a bunch of limes etc. It looks good, stores easy- the cord can store neatly underneath and im really happy about the plastic cover top it comes with- i don’t like dust in my kitchen electronics. The only thing i wish is that the place/ hole where the juice spout is was bigger to allow more juice and even some pulp to easily flow out of the top surround and not ‘pool’ a bit there. After juicing i usually take the top off and tip it over to get every last drop of all the juice out if possible. Other than that i really like and enjoy using this juicer. It seems to be very well made, have a strong motor and is definitely pleasing to the eyes. I definitely think it is a really good buy and would buy again if i had to.

This is the best little juicer, it preforms like a champ, cleanup is easy. I love fresh orange juice in the morning and i am so happy i ordered this little work horse. I put a 4 cup measuring cup under the spout and it works fine i never miss a drop. So if you are looking for a easy to operate and clean product this ones for you.

Much faster than doing oranges by hand. But, the outlet to retainer is difficult to keep the finished oj in the container. The juicer turns around quickly and is very easy to miss the container and juice runs over the counter. This would be better if it had it’s own container that connected to the juice maker. Or a bottom tab that connected to the counter to hold the juicer still.

2-Juicing cones let you juice small and large citrus fruits to maximize juice extraction

The juiceman was just what i was looking for. I had a lot of oranges from my trees and i wanted a fast simple way to make juice and it worked perfectly. The only drawback is that it gets clogged with pulp too often and i have to stop and clean it out before continuing. Otherwise very simple to use and clean up is a breeze. I would reccomend this product.

I have been so pleased my juicer since i purchased it from amazon in may that i decided to write my very first product review. The juiceman jcj150s does everything i could wish for: using the appropriate head (there is a smaller one cleverly hidden under the larger one) i have extracted all the available juice from key limes to grapefruit. The flip-down pour spout in the ‘down’ position allows me to collect filtered juice into a glass or measuring cup. If i want unfiltered juice, i keep the spout closed (up), remove the filter from the machine, and collect the juice in the holding area of the machine which i then carefully remove and use to dispense the juice. The removable parts of the reamer and the sealed body make cleaning up a snap. Because everything including the cord is neatly stored directly on the body of the juicer and there is a top cover to keep the reamer clean, it looks very attractive as it sits, all ready to be used, on a shelf in my kitchen until the next time i need it. One caveat: happily, i am careful with my equipment. If i were not, or if i regularly needed to make a very large quantity of juice, i might think this machine was too fragile to be a good buy.

If your in the market for a lemon or orange juicer, this is just fine. No frills, does just what you need it to, easy to clean and small enough not to take up much space.

I love how easy it is to juice my oranges every morning which were sent to me from florida. I also love that everything can go in the dishwasher. My only negative comment is that the juicer sometimes moves from the vibration and misses the glass. I will probably look to buy something rubber to put under the juicer to keep it from moving.

I love this juicer and use it everyday. Powerful motor for a rotary juicer, smart styling and it takes up so little room on the kitchen counter. I love the flip spout and two sizes of reamers.

This juicer is the greatest thing since power steering. Having bad rotator cuffs i truly appreciate this handy easy to use device. It is so easy to clean and store. It provides me with fresh juice whenever i choose. It is light weight and easy to assemble for daily use. The greatest kitchen device i have.

Auto-reversing juicing action turns the cone both ways to squeeze every last drop of juice from fruit

After reading reviews for several juicers, i bought this one because the reviewers said it is easy to clean, whereas some others are not. I agree that it is very easy to clean. It is very good for doing a few lemons or limes, or an occasional orange, which is all we use it for. Much easier than doing it manually, especially for someone with arthritis or a hand injury that makes squeezing painful or difficult. I don’t know if this juicer will hold up to juicing a whole bag of oranges every day. If that’s what you need it for, you probably should pay more money and get a professional-grade model.

I ordered two citrus juicers: the stainless manual one and this. I had trouble getting juice from the limes with the manual so i switched to this one. Gets every drop of juice and doesn’t require the governator to squeeze. Effortless, super easy to clean. . Doesn’t even need a dishwasher. Now i’m doing limes, oranges, grapefruit.

I love my juiceman for juicing citrus fruits. I prefer to eat the pulp as well when i juice, so this suits my needs perfectly. I have never had any problems with my machine. I use it at least weekly and have had it for about a year. Can’t beat it for the price.

I had two before this one of lesser quality. I like this one because it doesn’t twist (as much) when the motor engages. I just discovered another great feature about this product that i had not noticed until recently (i never read instructions. Shhh) the ‘drain spout’ lifts up and closes the collection bowl so it doesn’t drip between uses (like making drinks as i do). My other juicers required that i put an extra cup to catch the drips. I should have read the directions a long time ago.

I’ve always hated tossing out lemons and limes after hand squeezing or juicing by some other means since so much of the pulp remains holding juice. I ordered this juicer with reservations, but after researching other lemon juicers and finding those i liked required good hand pressure of which i have limited i gave an automatic juicer a try. After juicing 2 lemons, i was hooked. The first lemon was the learning phase of placing pressure, releasing, and holding. The second lemon was a breeze. Absolutely, no unjuiced pulp was left inside the peel. Actually, i was amazed at how much juice one lemon can yield. I shudder when i think of how many lemons i’ve bought unnesessarily due to valuable juice going wasted because i didn’t have the right tool to release all the juice from the lemons i had purchased. I’ve only used the juiceman for lemons and limes because my cooking mainly requires using those juices, but i’m sure it will work just as well with other citrus fruits.

I own the breville juice fountain elite and the breville toaster and the one cup coffee maker. Although this is not a review of breville products i must say breville makes an excellent product. I wanted a simple machine to make orange juice and grapefruit juice in the morning and the juice fountain elite was overkill for a simple glass of oj. Of course i considered the breville 800cpxl but at $189 i thought it was too much for just making orange juice. So i decided to try the juiceman because it looked nice and at $24. 99 it was worth taking the risk, especially when purchasing from amazon. I ordered the juiceman on december 16th and got it in time for breakfast on dec 17th. When i opened the box the juiceman was very light weight. It did not have the solid feel of the heavy breville model. But it looked as nice as my breville juice fountain.

Usually on the weekends using citrus fruits with my kids during summer months. Works perfectly fine for me. No issues with power of motor or size of juicing cones. Reverse rotation definitely helps get every ounce of juice. Most of the pulp and seeds collect below cone so you can scoop it out very comfortable with the price i paid versus the performance and size it takes up in my cabinet. Put it on the counter, plug in the cord and juice. What more could you ask for?.

Snap-up juice spout helps keep drips and spills off counters; sleek, upright design fits cocktail and juice glasses with ease

I really do like this citrus juicer. I had an old one that tended to rime out too much of the pulp and made the juice bitter, so i decided it was time to look for another. I looked at all the recommendations and reviews and none of then really seemed to be spectacular for the citrus juicers. I had heard of a juiceman and this product seemed to be just the right size. I have a small kitchen with limited counter as well as storage space. This seemed to fit the bill. I have been using it now for a couple of months or more and i like the 2 juicing cones as they tend to fit almost any citrus fruit that i want to juice. I like the way that the juice comes out of the spout and into a container. The strainer does not tend to clog easily and the juice tends to flow out well.

After using this juicer at a friend’s house, i came right home and ordered one for myself. It makes serving fresh-squeezed oj a breezethis citrus juicer is housed in a sturdy, stainless steel body with a neat, recessed area underneath for storing the power cord when not in use. The parts that touch the orange and the juice are made of thick black plastic and easily come out for cleaning. There are two juicing cones for use with grapefruits down to lemons or limes. (note: the smaller cone is stored inside the larger cone when you unpack the juicer. ) there is also a clear plastic cover that keeps dust, etc. Away when you are not using your juicer. I really appreciate this extra touch because i store my appliances on open shelving. Operation is simple: place a glass underneath the spout on the side of the juicer, select the appropriate size cone for your fruit, cut your fruit in half and push the cut end down firmly on the cone. This engages the motor and it begins juicing your fruit.

So easy to use and even easier to clean. All parts go into the dish washer.

I got on a ‘limeade kick’ about 3 weeks ago. I have arthritis in my hands, but i was making do with a citrus reamer, but my hands were often sore after juicing the limes. This machine was the answer to my prayers. I read the reviews on the item prior to purchasing, item arrived 4 days after i purchased it, so i felt i was informed and had a good idea what i was purchasing. The rotating ‘reamer’ reverses direction each time you let off pressure on the citrus, and i got every bit of juice out of each lime. Nothing but the rind was left when i finished juicing. 5 c of lime juice out of 7 limes (avg. Size), so i’m quite pleased. The price was right, the product works great for my needs (a couple of pitchers of limeades a week); and right now, i’m enjoying my limeades in this nasty heat we’ve been having down south the past week or so.

Our regular juicer is a juiceman and it has been an outstanding product, so we went with a juiceman citrus juicer and it is also a superior product. This is our second citrus juicer and the first one that rotates forward and backward and does a great job getting all of the juice out of the fruit.

Use it for oranges, grapefruit and lemons – works great – could have had better feet – keeps sliding sideways.

Dishwasher-safe parts make cleanup a snap, while built-in cord storage helps reduce countertop clutter

The product just arrived and i already put it to use. Best grapefruit juice i’ve had in years. Did a good job of juicing and holding back most of the pulp. Since i like the pulp i did add it, but had the option. I was actually surprised at the quality and function. Of course, this is the first use and one never knows, but it did a good job. I anticipate using it often.

I make homemade lemonade all the time and this is a great way to easily squeeze the lemon juice.

This juicer works very well. Gets every bit of juice from the fruit. Love the reverse motion which also makes the machine more efficient. The only think that i think could use improvement is the ‘weight’ of the machine. It’s so light that it moves away from the glass or container you put under the spout that the juice comes out of. More weight would keep this from happening. But all in all this does a great job.

Only used it once so i can’t comment on the durability. However by judging on the build and how smooth it runs, i think this is a quality product and i expect it will last. The container can be easily taken apart and rinsed out. For this price i think it is a steal.

Have only used a short time but found it to be more than serviceable. Bought to juice the many, many lemons i had this year. Froze the juice in ice trays for future use. My only negative comment would be when you put pressure on the fruit the unit ‘walks’ a bit. So, if you aren’t paying attention the juice is on the counter because the unit has moved from the cup catching the juice. Otherwise, it did its job quite well. Looks fabulous on the counter.

The lip tilts up when you finish so it does not drip and run all over the countertop. I like the inset design so you can push the receiving container all the way in so it is positioned under the spout. The design is very good; as if the company thought of everything. I like the fact it is lightweight too. I juiced a 5 lb bag of texas ruby red grapefuit expeditously. Try ruby reds you will like themthe reversing action is a great feature. If you let off and press it reverses the action.

This citrus juicer is very easy to operate. I’ve used it to extract orange juice from fresh oranges and it can be done in a few seconds. The only reason that i did not rate it a 5 is because i only received 1 juicing cone while the description indicates it comes with 2 cones. I thought it would be nice to have different size cones so that it can be used for small or large fruits (i. , lemons, oranges, grape fruits).

I don’t have experience preparing juice for large crowds or for parties, but for everyday home use, this gadget is great. I love it for pouring fresh lemon juice onto fish prior to baking. You get 4 or 5 times more lemon juice than you do from squeezing by hand. I love it for small batches of fresh (organic) lemonade, sweetened with organic stevia. It’s a healthier alternative than commercial lemonades. Here’s the nutritional label off one of them: contains pure filtered water, lemon juice from concentrate, less than 2% of: vitamin c (ascorbic acid), natural flavors, citric acid (provides tartness), potassium citrate, glycerol ester of rosin, modified cornstarch, high fructose corn syrup, aspartame, acesulfame potassium. Needless to say, none of their ingredients are organic. One reviewer said he had a problem with the juice not flowing smoothly through the aperture, or getting blocked. This problem is easily solved by clicking the spout to the up position.

I would highly recommend the ‘juice man’ to anyone wanting a juicer that is super easy to use. We make fresh orange juice and fresh lemonade with the juice man. It is so convenient and easy to clean. You don’t have to worry about anything breaking on it, because the design is so simple. It is well worth the money you pay for the juice man, which is nominal. It is so inexpensive, don’t hesitate to buy this great juicer.

This juicer is actually really good for the price. I bought it more for looks and hoping that it wouldn’t be as loud as the b&d i had returned. It’s not too loud, just normal noises come out of the motor. So what i like:* it gets most of the juice out* it has two cones that allows me to juice all kinds of citrus from limes to grapefruit* it looks nice on the counter. It goes with the rest of my appliances* the option to reserve the juice and then empty it directly into a cup* it’s dishwasher save. Makes clean up a breeze* price point – it’s not worth paying $100+ for a uni-tasker. There isn’t much else you can do with it. Now what i don’t like:* the juice reservoir is kind of small. I juice about two average-sized oranges and i have to empty it already* i cannot not control the amount of pulp i get in my juice* it’s not very stable on the counter.

NewAir AW-321ED 32 Bottle Dual Zone Thermoelectric Wine Cooler : So far is excellent for me

I’ve had this unit for about a month and no problems at all. Holds a precise temperature in both sides. I noticed that you must keep the fan exhausts clean, especially if you have a couple of cats and a dog like i do.

The cooler arrived sooner than expected, in pristine condition. The instructions are minimal, but it was not hard to figure out how to unpack it, attached the handles, store the wine, plug it in, and set the desired temperatures for red and white wines, respectively, in either fahrenheit or centigrade. Each side of the cooler reached its temperature setting within a few hours, and we have been enjoying our wines like never beforeafter a day or so, we noticed that the display on the right side (where we store reds) was flipping to centigrade (18 rather than 65) though we had set the display choice to fahrenheit, and did so again several times as over days we repeatedly saw the centigrade number reappear, seemingly at random. Sometimes on its own it would change back to fahrenheit. We tried resetting the system by unplugging it and plugging it back in, to no avail. Customer service, though initially unresponsive by phone, was fantastic once an email connection was established. They confirmed that there was no way to correct the problem; shipped me out a new cooler at their expense, as well as provided a paid fedex shipping label for me to return the original one purchased, and were friendly as could be throughout the process. Though i offered to live with the minor defect for a discount based on the shipping costs that would be saved, that was not a possibility for newair – they don’t sell directly to consumer, and have no process to do this. The replacement cooler arrived quickly, and is working perfectly. It is very quiet, and looks great it our dining room.

Love the unit, except it doesn’t cool to the specified temperature. It wasn’t a problem with clearances because i tried standing the unit in the middle of the room for two days. Wouldn’t go below 51 degrees. When i called air&water they were very responsive and are fed-exing me a couple of replacement parts that should handle the issue. I’ll update this after i make the fix to report on it.

So i was in need of two new wine fridges and wanted to be able to accommodate reds, whites, and dessert wines. The fridges arrived on time and in great condition. When i set them up everything seemed to be fine. However, one fridge couldn’t control the temp on one side (kept going to 40 degrees no matter what i set it at). I contacted the seller to get suggestions on possible repairs. They decided to ship a new one without any hassle. They also sent a return shipping label for me to ship the faulty one back. I received the new one in less than a week and it works perfectly. Wrap up:cons: great customer service, i can’t stress this enough. The temp range was perfect, allowing me to keep my reds at 55 and my dessert wines at 46.

Originally i wrote this scathing review, and feel i must retract it. ‘this unit is not holding temperature after 10 months. I called newair warranty and they sent me to air and water, inc who fulfilled the order. Air and water wanted me to ship the unit from the east coast to the west coast and back at my expense ($144). You are better off buying the $199 wine unit at home depot. ‘as is turns out, there are four screens on the back of the unit. No one from air and water or the manufacturer, newair, thought to ask me the following: if the unit struggling to hold temperature, have you checked the screens behind the unit to see if they are obstructed?. Once i pulled the unit, i saw the four screens were obstructed with dust. I vacuumed them and the unit returned to normal operating temperature by morning. Ir’s also running more smoothly. Check the screens behind the unit first.

NewAir AW-321ED 32 Bottle Dual Zone Thermoelectric Wine Cooler, Stainless Steel & Black : Update: my first review was a bit more negative. I’ve been meaning to update my review, but am only now finally getting to that. The product didn’t keep the temps and i was frustrated. As the end of the first year neared, i remembered it was probably still under warranty. The new air service people genuinely helped me. First, with troubleshooting, then with a new part, finally, the entire unit was replaced and they even waived the shipping. I was totally surprised and delighted. The new unit works very well. Original reviewi have waited to write a review of this product, which we got in october 2017. I give it 2 stars, but only because the look, layout, feel, size, quantity of bottles meets my needs. However, like many other people, it definitely does not keep the temperature. I read reviews before getting it and looked at what other people did, thinking it would still work for us. There is plenty of head and rear room in the cabinet where we have it, even decent side to side room.

We get lots of compliments on our new wine addition. Thanks for a fantastic product.

It does control the temperature wellthey could made more spaces/rooms in between levels of rack.

Even the carton is wrong, it says it is 20. It must be the new math or no one knows how to read a tape.

My only complaint – you have to reset the temperatures if the power goes out which has happened all too frequently with the large number of thunder storms we’ve had.

Love the unit: great appearance and easy to assemble. Unfortunately, unit did not cool properly in one zone after first few weeks. Contacted company and had excellent, efficient, and friendly customer service resolving our complaint. Company provided free postage for return and provided us with a new unit when the first one could not be repaired. Hoping second unit will continue to work properly.

Our first wine refrigerator and we are very pleased with it so far. It’s very quiet — quieter than i expected — and consistently maintains set temperatures (55 degrees) in ambient room temperature of 75-80 degrees. All 32 wine bottles fit fine albeit very snugly at times, the wood shelves give the unit an elegant look, though as others have noted, they feel somewhat flimsy and can only be removed from the top. Not a big deal for us at this time. The blue lights look nice aesthetically but too dim to effectively illuminate the fridge. I would happily recommend this product to anyone seeking a thermoelectric dual-temperature-zone unit capable of storing up to 32 wine bottles.

We’ve had this unit for over a year and haven’t had any problems. If your electricity goes off, you have to reset the temperatures, so that is a little annoyance. But overall, it serves the purpose. As someone pointed out, the space may be a little tight for some larger bottles, but for standard size, it since it will be up against the wall and won’t show. We’ll see how the second one functions – but our experience with the first one has been fine.

Unit arrived 2 weeks ago with an outer box and corner padding, containing an inner box which was the actual box you might see in a store. Deliver guy carefully unloaded and placed it in our foyer. There were some comments on people having difficulty keeping the unit upright while unpacking. It’s really simple, tilt the outer box enough to cut the tape below at the bottom, repeat, and simply lift the box up. Do the same for the inner box. A helper would be good to tilt the box while you cut the tape underneath – you can use a piece of furniture to lean it against. Once opened, sure enough there was a 3inch long ding at the back corner. Given how well the unit was packed, i am almost certain the ding happened at the factory. I debated whether to return it. But decided the ding was discrete enough.

A good cooler , only downfall is for the bigger bottles, champagne, pinot , they don’t fit very good unless you remove shelf or shove hard. It’s very quiet , love the dual temps.

Quiet, as advertised, holds temperature. I read other reviews and maintenance seemed to be an issue, so i will update my review if needed, but for now it has been six weeks and all great.

This is a very nice refrigerator. It got to the right temp in a few hours very quietly. As others have commented, this is really for standard size bottles. You can fit a few bigger bottle at the top of each side but that’s it. My recommendation when opening it is to very carefully pull away both boxes while this is standing. The side panels are light metal and can bend slightly if you lie it down and try to pull it out.

Keeps my wine at the temperature set and i can barely hear it run. Best of all was the supplier wayfair. It was sold by them through amazon. There was a problem with the first one and wayfair sent me a new one immediately, no questions asked.

This wine cooler looks great and keeps the set temperature constant. The shelves could use some engineering re-work. The shelves have a cross wooden piece to keep the shelves from coming all the way out. I had to fix more than half the shelves before i could safely use them. The manufacturer used inadequate nails and glue.

We bought this in may, 2016, & it’s been working flawlessly since we starated it. Being virtually silent w/its thermoelectric cooling is a wonderful thing, especially since we have it in the corner of the dining room. The only thing that was initially puzzling was when we lost power (happens a couple times/yr with storms), the setting went back to default & had to be set again.

I read many, many reviews before i settled on this cooler. It may be more expensive, but after slightly more than 13 months of continuous use, i am thrilled with this cooler. It does not vibrate at all when it turns on/off. It is always within 1 degree of whatever temperature i have either side set at. And the black and stainless steel aesthetic is a perfect look in my home. It came packaged as perfectly as such an item could come. ‘set up’ involved putting on the handles.

This is an awesome wine fridge. It is stylish and works great. We had a cooling unit go out and the company sent us a new unit and guidance on how to change it. They stood by their guarantee. I am very pleased and would recommend this product.

Juiceman JCJ150S 40-Watt Automatic Citrus Juicer : good juicer

Use it for oranges, grapefruit and lemons – works great – could have had better feet – keeps sliding sideways.

Got this out for the first time, cut my lemons in half and went to town. The reversing spin gets all the juice out very quickly. The only tricky part was finding the little cone as it fits so nicely inside the bigger one.

Juiceman JCJ150S 40-Watt Automatic Citrus Juicer with 2 Juicing Cones : I had two before this one of lesser quality. I like this one because it doesn’t twist (as much) when the motor engages. I just discovered another great feature about this product that i had not noticed until recently (i never read instructions. Shhh) the “drain spout” lifts up and closes the collection bowl so it doesn’t drip between uses (like making drinks as i do). My other juicers required that i put an extra cup to catch the drips. I should have read the directions a long time ago.

So easy to use and even easier to clean. All parts go into the dish washer.

Our regular juicer is a juiceman and it has been an outstanding product, so we went with a juiceman citrus juicer and it is also a superior product. This is our second citrus juicer and the first one that rotates forward and backward and does a great job getting all of the juice out of the fruit.

Just a little clue about the two cones. The big one is on top of the little one and you have to pull it off with some gusto as it is on tight but is there. A little mystery solved for me at least. But i felt silly that i did not see it right away.

This is one of the the best citrus juicers, its simple to use and easy to clean. I get more juice than i did with my old juicer. I would recommend this to any one who loves fresh o.

I make homemade lemonade all the time and this is a great way to easily squeeze the lemon juice.

Excellent juicer that gets a lot of use at our home (we have 36 citrus trees in 9 varieties).

Only used it once so i can’t comment on the durability. However by judging on the build and how smooth it runs, i think this is a quality product and i expect it will last. The container can be easily taken apart and rinsed out. For this price i think it is a steal.

Does the job but has 2 issues:1- it’s not stable, when squeezing oranges this thing tends to not stick to the kitchen counter as well as our cheaper juicer2- you have to push down hard on the oranges, even more so than our older/cheaper squeezer.

Sunpentown IM-101 Portable Ice Maker : Works Perfect

We bought this ice maker on amazon a year ago. We use it every weekend to produce 5 or 6 gallon bags of ice. It makes ice fast and hasn’t had a single mechanical failure. It’s pretty much the best ice maker i’ve ever used. The ice does come out really wet, so if you stick it straight into your ice bin it will freeze into a clump. We package it in gallon ziplock bags instead. After a night of freezing we just drop the bags onto the floor to break the ice up before putting it itk our ice bin. It’s the same as you’d do with store bought ice.

We did the cleaning cycle like the directions said to with one exception, we used half the vinegar. The first drop of ice was very weak, maybe the water in the reservoir was too warm?. But as it progressed it was thicker and more solid. So far all i’ve tried was the medium size, and by the fourth drop (40 minutes later) i was very glad i ordered it. The only bad thing is like another reviewer said, the control panel doesn’t want to stick in place. I’ll probably put some clear tape over the panel to secure it. I bought this for ice not a center piece, but for 200 bucks it should look the part. Bottom line for me, i already recommended it to friends. 12 dec 2012over a year old and still works like a champ.

We have an icemaker in our refrigerator which is fine for our family, but we entertain groups of 15 or more about once a month and were always having to purchase ice (very inconvenient)for our drinks. I didn’t want an icemaker that had to be wired and plumbed into the kitchen. After a lot of research and comparison, i purchased this one. It is just fine for what i need it for. I put it on the counter in the laundry room by the sink, fill it up and plug it in and it quickly makes all the the ice we need.

I gave a party to 60 people and it was a very important part of it.

Sunpentown IM-101 Portable Ice Maker with LCD : I bought this for father’s day and here in november it is still going strong. We live in the south were ice and coolers are a must in the vehicle for daily activities and keeping meet cool after hunting and harvesting. I’m at home with our kids so i man the ice making harvesting. :)i purchased ice bags and a metalscoop (the tony plasic on was not impresive), can get a little more than two 10lb bags a day if i stay on too of it. The internal ice bin fills up about every hour. Which if not dumped the machine goes to stand buy and stops making ice and the ice in the bin will start to melt back into the water chamber and wait to make more ice. I have run vinegar thru it twice and it does take at least a full day of running to get the taste out of the ice. It has started to sound louder to me, this may be because it sits beside my sink and stove and i’m constantly listening to it or the dust needs to be cleaned out of the back vents. The ice is ‘wet’ and does freeze together if bagged and put into a deep freeze. (which is what we do)over all very pleased.

Front panel wasn’t attached when we unpacked it and flops off if bumped. Works well and aside from the cosmetic issue worth the money.

After replacing the ice maker on my refrigerator twice in five years, we gave up an bought this unit. It has worked flawlessly every day for two years now making 2 or 3 trays of ice daily.

This is the 3rd one i owned. When it works, it works good. My problem with it is that it has about a one year life cycle, and then something on these puppies break — usually a plastic part — right after the manufacture’s is no longer responsible. I wish they were built for the long haul.

After reading some of the bad reviews i was a bit apprehensive about ordering this. It turns out it is a very good product. It had no taste and makes ice like a banshee. I use the timer at times and it works great.

This product works very well and is quick to product ice. Not too noisy when making ice. Be sure to go through the cleaing and set up procedures when first purchased or the ice will have a terrible taste and odor. I think the factory should actually perform this before they sell the product. I went through three cleaning cycles and batches of ice before the odor and bad taste was gone. Also when the ice is made to preserve it be sure to remove from the maker and put in the freezer or the ice will eventually shrink from melting.

Used almost constantly since then. It just quit working about a week ago. I haven’t really looked at it to see if i can figure out what’s wrong, but it served me (and several family members well for 3 1/2 years.

I chose this brand after trying another brand from a local store an having to replace it twice in the last year. This suppentown maker is much faster than the others and makes much more ice more quickly than the other brand.

It is way larger than any sonic ice i’ve ever had even on the smallest setting. Works pretty well other than that. I was just really excited to finally get an ice machine that made sonic ice and it doesn’t. If you’re looking for sonic ice keep looking.

Bought this about 8 months ago and i still love it. If you are not a true ice lover, stick with bagged ice. I like being able to put my own filtered water in the machine, have ice on demand, know that the ice is clean and control the size of the ice. The drawbacks are that the ice does not freeze hard and has to be transferred to a freezer within an hour of being made or it will melt in a drink very quickly. Also, it does have to be emptied every few hours or it will build up with half ice/ half slush. Also requires that old water be drained.

Machine preforms well, makes lots of ice very quickly and continuously. So far it is exceeding the output of our last model – of course it was probably 8 years old, so expected improvement. We empty the bin several times a day into our ice bin in the freezer and into empty plastic bags to store in the freezer that way we have ice for our work crews ready to go when they have to go in the field to work.

This machine works great, ice is a little cloudy but not a problem. It uses little enough power to hook it up to a 12 volt battery with a power inverter. 5 amps max, so a 700 watt power inverter is quite sufficient i also plan to use it in the event of a power failure, i have a small gas generator that is too small to run a household refrigerator, but with this machine i can make more than enough ice for two people to survive on, including ice for cocktails. I was really amazed how fast it makes ice. Packaging was very good with no damage (double boxed). Get some white vinegar to clean before first use, as per instructions.

I purchased this item for our office on 11/28/2010. We have used this nearly every single day. Initially, there was some plastic taste to the ice cubes, but over time, that taste has gone away. I don’t really recall how long it took, but i think we sped the process with a lemon juice mixture. In any case, the ice maker has not had any problems for the past 2 1/2 years and continues to make ice reliably. We take care of the machine, clean it out couple times a year. It reliably makes ice in under ten minutes. You can choose different size ice cubes, but i don’t think we’ve ever changed it from the ‘large pieces’ setting. It’s been a real blessing in our office to have ice nearly on demand. I see there are others who have had a bad experience with this machine, but our experience has been just the opposite.

I purchased one of these 5 years ago used (5 years old at the time) and i finally had to replace it a year ago. I purchased this one for my daughter.

Love to bring this ice maker camping. Never have to buy ice, always keeps up even in this heat. Highly recommend this product.

Sunpentown im-101s portable ice maker with lcd with stainless steel body bought this product, it worked well the first time and then had trouble with the shovel lifting, called service within 2 weeks and received very good customer service. We were sent a new ice maker at no cost.

It is a little loud, but that is not a problem for us.

Cuisinart CPM-900 EasyPop Popcorn Maker – This is a sturdy, oil-popped popper

My husband thinks this thing is the best product since sliced bread. It’s easy and the popcorn it makes is great. We’ve used it at least 25 times since christmas (it’s 2/15) and had no issues with the heating element. However, the locking mechanism on the heating element broke off last night. I will hope that the manufacturer will quickly replace this piece?.

Now with microwave popcorn, this is not really a good purchase. But it works well, and all you have to do is turn it over for a bucket of popcorn. It does take time for it to get warm. But within 5 minutes you will have popcorn.

I like this popper for its ease of use (even kids can use it), and it pops reasonably well, however, i’ve had to replace it or parts of it, multiple times. (luckily they were covered under warranty. ) we’ve had problems with the locks which hold the popping plate to the heating base (broke twice), a piece within the base broke, the heating element went out, and the bowl cover didn’t fit the bowl; it fell off. You’d expect cuisinart to have better quality. (but this does seem much sturdier than similar poppers we checked out) lucky for us, everything was replaced, but be very careful with how you use the locks (engage the lock b/4 clicking plate onto base – if there is any resistance don’t force it), and call them if you have a problem; they may replace it for you.

After extensive research about what popcorn maker to purchase we decided on the cuisinart 900 easypop popcorn maker in red. We just use a bit of olive oil instead of butter for a healthier snack. It pops every single kernels to perfection. The popcorn pops right into the bowl, no flying popcorn to clean up from counter or floor. We love this popcorn maker and highly recommend it.

This is an awesome popcorn maker. But our family has popcorn just about nightly. And the first one still works perfectly. But the ‘bowl’ had been dropped a few times, reglued and still worked fine. I just wanted a replacement for appearances sake. We’ve had them for about four years now. I’ve put the hot plate, lid and bowl all through the dishwasher many times. It’s user friendly and easy to clean.

I purchased this popcorn maker as my friend recommended it. I love popcorn and could eat it everyday, however the way i like it is with lots of butter and junk. He suggested i try this maker as you use very little oil and basically its air popped. However i was not completely pleased with the consistency of the popcorn. Slightly rubbery and dry but i guess that’s why this machine is a healthier choice. Its very easy to use, easy to clean and i believe right for the money i paid for it. I will get used to the taste – but expected a more theatre like popcorn taste. Overall happy with the purchase.

I have had this popcorn maker for a year now, and i am sad to say the latches that hold down the clear part of the popcorn maker have snapped off (it gave me the impression it was cheaply made) so i am disappointed in that. However i love that it is dishwasher safe. I don’t know if i would buy this again, i might go back to hot air popper. But the popcorn that comes out of this product is awesome.

Clean up of unit requires work. You can get other popcorn units for lower price that make good popcorn.

🙂 i love it it goes in my pinkkitchen prefectly and i have waited a long time to get it.

I an ordering a second popper after my first one was destroyed in a move across country. My whole family voted to replace it rather than try a different product because we love the taste of the popcorn it makes.  cuisinart cpm-900bk easypop popcorn maker, black.

This is a sturdy, oil-popped popper. We use coconut oil, then add a little melted butter and salt. We have had other poppers down through the years, starting with a pan on the stove which required shaking, to air poppers. This is the best ever and we have never been disappointed with the results. We now own two of these poppers.

I finally purchased this popper after hesitating for a few months. My sister has one and has been happy with it for at least a year. I was worried because of the negative reviews. I’ve had it for a month now. I love the way it pops the corn. They come out bigger and fluffier then i use to get from a microwave popper. Also i use to add a tablespoon of butter to make it taste good. Now i just use a teaspoon of oil and salt and it tastes great. (the direction say to use 2 teaspoons but 1 is working fine).

I have read all the reviews and bought this pop corn popper for myself and my in-laws. We use ours casually and my in-laws use it 3-4 times a week. They had a problem with the clasp breaking and the company sent a new base out right away with no problems. We have not had any problems with it. You have to watch it when its popping and turn it over right when its done or the popcorn will burn, i put it in a bowl, there is condensation from the steam and it will get soggy sitting in it. You don’t leave the plate on top while its popping or you will have soggy popcorn. We use olive oil and some flavor sprinkles and they taste great and don’t have all the preservatives that bag popcorn has. If you like popcorn this is a great product. Like everything, some times you just get a bad items, the company is great to work with.

It is great fun to gather around the popper with the grand kids and watch the popcorn explode. You can pick your oil and use olive oil or other healthy oils. Salt sticks to the popcorn – unlike hot air popers. Instead of just plain salt for a kick you can use cajun seasoning like ‘ tony chachere’s’ or ‘slap ya mama’, even a bunch of drops of ‘crystal’ hot sauce (cajun koolaid) for some extra kick (try it, it is great – just don’t go overboard). Did i mention it is fun to watch?.

What all the reviews say about the locking device on the heating plate are true, they are fragile. The first time it broke, i thought it was me, something i had done wrong. After the third time, i decided it was a flaw in the design, which i trust cuisinart will correct in future models. Otherwise, i really like the popper. Customer service has been terrific. The popper comes with a three year warranty, and i am now on my third heating plate with a year to go on the warranty. Each time i called customer service, the part was replaced at no cost to me. I have looked at other poppers on the market, and i like the look and ease of use of the easypop the best.

After years of buying premeasured popcorn in packets, and dealing with unpopped popcorn, or not a good quality of popcorn, we decided to try the crisinart cmp-900. So far, i have purchased two – one for our vacation home, and one for our residence. I plan to purchase another for one of our daughters. There is just something about a bowl of popcorn that makes you think that this weary old world will be ok. Amazon afforded us a ‘no hassle’ purchase.

We have now been through 3 of these. The top cracks easily and the bottom breaks. We found a better and much less expensive alternative — the west bend stir crazy popper, try it you’ll like it.

Popcorn maker with motorized stirring mechanism for better popping

This was a replacement for the one we had before. Unfortunately the plastic bowl fell to the floor and broke into pieces. It was 5 years old and had seen a lot of wear and use. Yes, it’s true that the clips that hold the plate to the base break, but, this cuisinart pops popcorn better than any other we’ve tried (maybe 1 or 2 kernels don’t pop, but, usually they all pop. We have never had the popcorn burn for being left on too long as the machine keeps moving even after the popping stops. As for those clips, we just put a small weight on top of the lid until the popping starts, then we remove both the weight and lid and the popcorn continues to finish popping without any problems.

This popcorn machine is great so far, excellent design (hope it lasts as the previous reviews state failure eventually). It pops every kernel of the most generic brand, and is easy to use. We are being very gentle with it, hand washing, etc. I hope it lasts 300 uses like another reviewer reports. We eat alot of popcorn, and are very happy. Update september 2013: the dreaded tab-break occurred, however cuisinart customer services is awesome, sending a replacement free of charge as we speak. Here is california warranty info that might be helpful to you, see last line of info for free shipping: california residents only:california law provides that for in-warranty service, california residents have the option of returning a nonconforming product (a) to the store where it was purchased or (b) to another retail store which sells cuisinart products of the same type. The retail store shall then, at its discretion, either repair the product, refer the consumer to an independent repair facility, replace the product, or refund the purchase price less the amount directly attributable to the consumer’s prior usage of the product. If the above two options do not result in the appropriate relief to the consumer, the consumer may then take the product to an independent repair facility if service or repair can be economically accomplished.

The best popper i have ever had. All the time it has held up real good if tit ever gos back i will buy another onedale.

Makes a huge batch – too much for two people – but it works o.

Due to the number of reviewers complaining of defective products i waited almost 6 months to review cuisinart cpm-900bk easypop popcorn maker, black to make sure it would stand up to frequent use. I have used the popper frequently over 6 months. Nothing has broken even when my dog has knocked the clear plastic bowl off of the counter on more than one occasion. My tile floor is not forgiving. Any glass item would have broken. No parts of the base have cracked or broken either. I have noticed very few hulls when popping popcorn with this popper. The kernels may not be quite as fluffy but i don’t know if it is the popper or the kernels because i have used only organic kernels that i did not use prior to using this popper. Four stars because i think the base gets too hot and could be a burn hazard to a child if they were to touch the heating element when it is not attached to the base.
