I do not think this type juicer is even made anymore except for very pricey commercial versions. This is very easy to use and does a great job.
Purchased as a gift for an avid orange juicer. She was tickled pink and used it the first day at least three times. The best selling point is the two sizes of juicing cones, instead of just one. Not all fruit was created equally.
Juice a dozen lemons and limes an a minute or two. Perfect if you like to juice a couple lemons to store for a couple days.
It juiced great until it broke within a month. We were juicing 2 oranges and one lemon everyday for two of us and it was delicious and easy to clean. The hinge on the spout is made with microscopic plastic stems that hold the piece in. When i was washing it broke. The problem came when i contacted the company, no parts are available for this model and it can’t be fixed. It is now more difficult to clean as the spout falls off and time has to be taken to try and get it positioned again. However, after several contacts with the company, they were generous enough to replace the juicer with model jcj4000 which has nicer upgrade features and durability. I would not have purchased the first one if i knew it was out of production and parts were not available. The seller of course, doesn’t know that either.
I bought this juicer because of all those i looked at, it had consistently better reviews. Now i can see that the reviews were justified. I have never used a juicer that was as easy to clean as this one, and this is the fourth or fifth that i’ve owned. Juice your oranges, and then lift off the top assembly (the main juice-catching dish, the strainer and the juicing hub. All into the sink for a quick rinse and you’re done. You might want to find a suitable larger container to catch the juice, if you’re juicing for your family, but i just juice by the glassful, and it works just fine. Contrary to what a few have claimed, it has ample power to juice oranges, lemons, tangerines, and grapefruit (which is all i use it for). It’s got some substantial torque (this is a good thing), so yes, it will try to walk away from you if you don’t hold it down a bit. That really isn’t hard to do, unless you really have coordination problems. I’ve used it every morning since i got it, and it’s still looking clean and doing its job.
Using this primarily for getting the juice out of limes. This juicer is for extracting juice from citrus; remember that it is *not* a vegetable juicerworks well. Gets all of the juice out of limes. The reversing feature works sufficiently well. Sometimes it takes a couple of downward bumps of the juicer to reverse the juicer, but that’s really easy – not a complaint. I like the locking spout at the front of the juicer. This allows you to juice citrus without having to maintain the position of a juice receptacle right next to the juicer while juicing. While juicing, flip the spout into the up, or closed, position. After juicing, simply place your receptacle next to and underneath the spout when ready, then flip the spout downward, and let the juice flow into the receptacle. Then, flip the spout back up into the ‘closed’ position, set your receptacle aside, and resume juicing.
- Best orange juicer I have ever used
- Could use a few improvements
- No one’s paying me to write this
Just a little clue about the two cones. The big one is on top of the little one and you have to pull it off with some gusto as it is on tight but is there. A little mystery solved for me at least. But i felt silly that i did not see it right away.
I purchased this product a few months ago and have been using it daily this summer for freshly juiced oranges. It is very easy to disassemble and clean quickly. (which is important to me) it looks nice on the counter and isn’t all that loud. You do have to use a shorter glass to fit under the spout that drains the orange juice down, although this really wasn’t an issue, i just poured the glass into another bigger glass and kept right on juicing. I have only used the large juicing cone, not that smaller one that comes with it also. It is an excellent replacement for my old braun that completely died.
I love this thing – i use it every single day. I don’t think i’ve ever spent a better $20. I juice oranges regularly and at least one lemon everyday. Once i had the spout turned up and no juice came down and when i realized what had happened i had juice everywhere, but other than that, this thing has worked wonderfully for me. I have a regular juicer too, but this one is my go-to juicer for citrus.
Excellent juicer that gets a lot of use at our home (we have 36 citrus trees in 9 varieties).
Got this out for the first time, cut my lemons in half and went to town. The reversing spin gets all the juice out very quickly. The only tricky part was finding the little cone as it fits so nicely inside the bigger one.

Does the job but has 2 issues:1- it’s not stable, when squeezing oranges this thing tends to not stick to the kitchen counter as well as our cheaper juicer2- you have to push down hard on the oranges, even more so than our older/cheaper squeezer.
This juicer is great for drinks. . The juice goes directly into your glass. Made very well and is easy to use. I couldn’t find it in any stores. My friend had one and i fell in love with it. Every kitchen should have this juicer.
This is one of the the best citrus juicers, its simple to use and easy to clean. I get more juice than i did with my old juicer. I would recommend this to any one who loves fresh o.
This is my first automatic citrus juicer and i really enjoy it. I like making fresh ‘drinks’ for friends who visit and this definitely takes me less time now then in the past when i had to hand squeeze a bunch of limes etc. It looks good, stores easy- the cord can store neatly underneath and im really happy about the plastic cover top it comes with- i don’t like dust in my kitchen electronics. The only thing i wish is that the place/ hole where the juice spout is was bigger to allow more juice and even some pulp to easily flow out of the top surround and not ‘pool’ a bit there. After juicing i usually take the top off and tip it over to get every last drop of all the juice out if possible. Other than that i really like and enjoy using this juicer. It seems to be very well made, have a strong motor and is definitely pleasing to the eyes. I definitely think it is a really good buy and would buy again if i had to.
This is the best little juicer, it preforms like a champ, cleanup is easy. I love fresh orange juice in the morning and i am so happy i ordered this little work horse. I put a 4 cup measuring cup under the spout and it works fine i never miss a drop. So if you are looking for a easy to operate and clean product this ones for you.
Much faster than doing oranges by hand. But, the outlet to retainer is difficult to keep the finished oj in the container. The juicer turns around quickly and is very easy to miss the container and juice runs over the counter. This would be better if it had it’s own container that connected to the juice maker. Or a bottom tab that connected to the counter to hold the juicer still.
2-Juicing cones let you juice small and large citrus fruits to maximize juice extraction
The juiceman was just what i was looking for. I had a lot of oranges from my trees and i wanted a fast simple way to make juice and it worked perfectly. The only drawback is that it gets clogged with pulp too often and i have to stop and clean it out before continuing. Otherwise very simple to use and clean up is a breeze. I would reccomend this product.
I have been so pleased my juicer since i purchased it from amazon in may that i decided to write my very first product review. The juiceman jcj150s does everything i could wish for: using the appropriate head (there is a smaller one cleverly hidden under the larger one) i have extracted all the available juice from key limes to grapefruit. The flip-down pour spout in the ‘down’ position allows me to collect filtered juice into a glass or measuring cup. If i want unfiltered juice, i keep the spout closed (up), remove the filter from the machine, and collect the juice in the holding area of the machine which i then carefully remove and use to dispense the juice. The removable parts of the reamer and the sealed body make cleaning up a snap. Because everything including the cord is neatly stored directly on the body of the juicer and there is a top cover to keep the reamer clean, it looks very attractive as it sits, all ready to be used, on a shelf in my kitchen until the next time i need it. One caveat: happily, i am careful with my equipment. If i were not, or if i regularly needed to make a very large quantity of juice, i might think this machine was too fragile to be a good buy.
If your in the market for a lemon or orange juicer, this is just fine. No frills, does just what you need it to, easy to clean and small enough not to take up much space.
I love how easy it is to juice my oranges every morning which were sent to me from florida. I also love that everything can go in the dishwasher. My only negative comment is that the juicer sometimes moves from the vibration and misses the glass. I will probably look to buy something rubber to put under the juicer to keep it from moving.
I love this juicer and use it everyday. Powerful motor for a rotary juicer, smart styling and it takes up so little room on the kitchen counter. I love the flip spout and two sizes of reamers.
This juicer is the greatest thing since power steering. Having bad rotator cuffs i truly appreciate this handy easy to use device. It is so easy to clean and store. It provides me with fresh juice whenever i choose. It is light weight and easy to assemble for daily use. The greatest kitchen device i have.
Auto-reversing juicing action turns the cone both ways to squeeze every last drop of juice from fruit
After reading reviews for several juicers, i bought this one because the reviewers said it is easy to clean, whereas some others are not. I agree that it is very easy to clean. It is very good for doing a few lemons or limes, or an occasional orange, which is all we use it for. Much easier than doing it manually, especially for someone with arthritis or a hand injury that makes squeezing painful or difficult. I don’t know if this juicer will hold up to juicing a whole bag of oranges every day. If that’s what you need it for, you probably should pay more money and get a professional-grade model.
I ordered two citrus juicers: the stainless manual one and this. I had trouble getting juice from the limes with the manual so i switched to this one. Gets every drop of juice and doesn’t require the governator to squeeze. Effortless, super easy to clean. . Doesn’t even need a dishwasher. Now i’m doing limes, oranges, grapefruit.
I love my juiceman for juicing citrus fruits. I prefer to eat the pulp as well when i juice, so this suits my needs perfectly. I have never had any problems with my machine. I use it at least weekly and have had it for about a year. Can’t beat it for the price.
I had two before this one of lesser quality. I like this one because it doesn’t twist (as much) when the motor engages. I just discovered another great feature about this product that i had not noticed until recently (i never read instructions. Shhh) the ‘drain spout’ lifts up and closes the collection bowl so it doesn’t drip between uses (like making drinks as i do). My other juicers required that i put an extra cup to catch the drips. I should have read the directions a long time ago.
I’ve always hated tossing out lemons and limes after hand squeezing or juicing by some other means since so much of the pulp remains holding juice. I ordered this juicer with reservations, but after researching other lemon juicers and finding those i liked required good hand pressure of which i have limited i gave an automatic juicer a try. After juicing 2 lemons, i was hooked. The first lemon was the learning phase of placing pressure, releasing, and holding. The second lemon was a breeze. Absolutely, no unjuiced pulp was left inside the peel. Actually, i was amazed at how much juice one lemon can yield. I shudder when i think of how many lemons i’ve bought unnesessarily due to valuable juice going wasted because i didn’t have the right tool to release all the juice from the lemons i had purchased. I’ve only used the juiceman for lemons and limes because my cooking mainly requires using those juices, but i’m sure it will work just as well with other citrus fruits.
I own the breville juice fountain elite and the breville toaster and the one cup coffee maker. Although this is not a review of breville products i must say breville makes an excellent product. I wanted a simple machine to make orange juice and grapefruit juice in the morning and the juice fountain elite was overkill for a simple glass of oj. Of course i considered the breville 800cpxl but at $189 i thought it was too much for just making orange juice. So i decided to try the juiceman because it looked nice and at $24. 99 it was worth taking the risk, especially when purchasing from amazon. I ordered the juiceman on december 16th and got it in time for breakfast on dec 17th. When i opened the box the juiceman was very light weight. It did not have the solid feel of the heavy breville model. But it looked as nice as my breville juice fountain.
Usually on the weekends using citrus fruits with my kids during summer months. Works perfectly fine for me. No issues with power of motor or size of juicing cones. Reverse rotation definitely helps get every ounce of juice. Most of the pulp and seeds collect below cone so you can scoop it out very comfortable with the price i paid versus the performance and size it takes up in my cabinet. Put it on the counter, plug in the cord and juice. What more could you ask for?.
Snap-up juice spout helps keep drips and spills off counters; sleek, upright design fits cocktail and juice glasses with ease
I really do like this citrus juicer. I had an old one that tended to rime out too much of the pulp and made the juice bitter, so i decided it was time to look for another. I looked at all the recommendations and reviews and none of then really seemed to be spectacular for the citrus juicers. I had heard of a juiceman and this product seemed to be just the right size. I have a small kitchen with limited counter as well as storage space. This seemed to fit the bill. I have been using it now for a couple of months or more and i like the 2 juicing cones as they tend to fit almost any citrus fruit that i want to juice. I like the way that the juice comes out of the spout and into a container. The strainer does not tend to clog easily and the juice tends to flow out well.
After using this juicer at a friend’s house, i came right home and ordered one for myself. It makes serving fresh-squeezed oj a breezethis citrus juicer is housed in a sturdy, stainless steel body with a neat, recessed area underneath for storing the power cord when not in use. The parts that touch the orange and the juice are made of thick black plastic and easily come out for cleaning. There are two juicing cones for use with grapefruits down to lemons or limes. (note: the smaller cone is stored inside the larger cone when you unpack the juicer. ) there is also a clear plastic cover that keeps dust, etc. Away when you are not using your juicer. I really appreciate this extra touch because i store my appliances on open shelving. Operation is simple: place a glass underneath the spout on the side of the juicer, select the appropriate size cone for your fruit, cut your fruit in half and push the cut end down firmly on the cone. This engages the motor and it begins juicing your fruit.
So easy to use and even easier to clean. All parts go into the dish washer.
I got on a ‘limeade kick’ about 3 weeks ago. I have arthritis in my hands, but i was making do with a citrus reamer, but my hands were often sore after juicing the limes. This machine was the answer to my prayers. I read the reviews on the item prior to purchasing, item arrived 4 days after i purchased it, so i felt i was informed and had a good idea what i was purchasing. The rotating ‘reamer’ reverses direction each time you let off pressure on the citrus, and i got every bit of juice out of each lime. Nothing but the rind was left when i finished juicing. 5 c of lime juice out of 7 limes (avg. Size), so i’m quite pleased. The price was right, the product works great for my needs (a couple of pitchers of limeades a week); and right now, i’m enjoying my limeades in this nasty heat we’ve been having down south the past week or so.
Our regular juicer is a juiceman and it has been an outstanding product, so we went with a juiceman citrus juicer and it is also a superior product. This is our second citrus juicer and the first one that rotates forward and backward and does a great job getting all of the juice out of the fruit.
Use it for oranges, grapefruit and lemons – works great – could have had better feet – keeps sliding sideways.
Dishwasher-safe parts make cleanup a snap, while built-in cord storage helps reduce countertop clutter
The product just arrived and i already put it to use. Best grapefruit juice i’ve had in years. Did a good job of juicing and holding back most of the pulp. Since i like the pulp i did add it, but had the option. I was actually surprised at the quality and function. Of course, this is the first use and one never knows, but it did a good job. I anticipate using it often.
I make homemade lemonade all the time and this is a great way to easily squeeze the lemon juice.
This juicer works very well. Gets every bit of juice from the fruit. Love the reverse motion which also makes the machine more efficient. The only think that i think could use improvement is the ‘weight’ of the machine. It’s so light that it moves away from the glass or container you put under the spout that the juice comes out of. More weight would keep this from happening. But all in all this does a great job.
Only used it once so i can’t comment on the durability. However by judging on the build and how smooth it runs, i think this is a quality product and i expect it will last. The container can be easily taken apart and rinsed out. For this price i think it is a steal.
Have only used a short time but found it to be more than serviceable. Bought to juice the many, many lemons i had this year. Froze the juice in ice trays for future use. My only negative comment would be when you put pressure on the fruit the unit ‘walks’ a bit. So, if you aren’t paying attention the juice is on the counter because the unit has moved from the cup catching the juice. Otherwise, it did its job quite well. Looks fabulous on the counter.
The lip tilts up when you finish so it does not drip and run all over the countertop. I like the inset design so you can push the receiving container all the way in so it is positioned under the spout. The design is very good; as if the company thought of everything. I like the fact it is lightweight too. I juiced a 5 lb bag of texas ruby red grapefuit expeditously. Try ruby reds you will like themthe reversing action is a great feature. If you let off and press it reverses the action.
This citrus juicer is very easy to operate. I’ve used it to extract orange juice from fresh oranges and it can be done in a few seconds. The only reason that i did not rate it a 5 is because i only received 1 juicing cone while the description indicates it comes with 2 cones. I thought it would be nice to have different size cones so that it can be used for small or large fruits (i. , lemons, oranges, grape fruits).
I don’t have experience preparing juice for large crowds or for parties, but for everyday home use, this gadget is great. I love it for pouring fresh lemon juice onto fish prior to baking. You get 4 or 5 times more lemon juice than you do from squeezing by hand. I love it for small batches of fresh (organic) lemonade, sweetened with organic stevia. It’s a healthier alternative than commercial lemonades. Here’s the nutritional label off one of them: contains pure filtered water, lemon juice from concentrate, less than 2% of: vitamin c (ascorbic acid), natural flavors, citric acid (provides tartness), potassium citrate, glycerol ester of rosin, modified cornstarch, high fructose corn syrup, aspartame, acesulfame potassium. Needless to say, none of their ingredients are organic. One reviewer said he had a problem with the juice not flowing smoothly through the aperture, or getting blocked. This problem is easily solved by clicking the spout to the up position.
I would highly recommend the ‘juice man’ to anyone wanting a juicer that is super easy to use. We make fresh orange juice and fresh lemonade with the juice man. It is so convenient and easy to clean. You don’t have to worry about anything breaking on it, because the design is so simple. It is well worth the money you pay for the juice man, which is nominal. It is so inexpensive, don’t hesitate to buy this great juicer.
This juicer is actually really good for the price. I bought it more for looks and hoping that it wouldn’t be as loud as the b&d i had returned. It’s not too loud, just normal noises come out of the motor. So what i like:* it gets most of the juice out* it has two cones that allows me to juice all kinds of citrus from limes to grapefruit* it looks nice on the counter. It goes with the rest of my appliances* the option to reserve the juice and then empty it directly into a cup* it’s dishwasher save. Makes clean up a breeze* price point – it’s not worth paying $100+ for a uni-tasker. There isn’t much else you can do with it. Now what i don’t like:* the juice reservoir is kind of small. I juice about two average-sized oranges and i have to empty it already* i cannot not control the amount of pulp i get in my juice* it’s not very stable on the counter.
