BELLA 13701 Dots Collection 2-Slice Toaster : and I’ve spent a lot more on other toasters that don’t do 1/2 as good a job

I like the toaster as the color was perfect for my kitchen. I had a little trouble at first adjusting the temperature so as not to burn the item. It has a cancel button that is very handy if you think the toast is burning.

I have a small guesthouse and hate the way most toasters look after a few months of use. I had bought the coffee maker from bella and was very impressed by the choice of color and ease of cleaning – so ordered the toasters. Now i have matching appliances that are both easy to use and easy to clean.

Love the bagel option and the fact that it is made in hot pink so i can match my other appliances. Now if more companies would get on the hot pink bandwagon i would be a happy girl.

Came with scratches on the chrome, and whomever decided the electrical cord should be placed in front, was an idiot; seriously, who puts an electrical in the front?.

Dark, burnt ,or not dark enough.

BELLA 13701 Dots Collection 2-Slice Toaster, Red : I bought this red one for the office and i liked it so much that i got a purple one for my dorm. Very cute, very easy to use, fairly cheap, makes great toast, and stays cool on the outside. Also it is easy to clean the little crumb tray.

If you’re looking for a toaster with barebones, basic functionality, but also has a minimum of designer fanciness and would like to pay twice as much as for a toaster that does just as much but is not brightly colored, then look no further.

It matches my kitchen nicely. It has been working just fine. I like that the openings are big enough for bagels and that it has a bagel setting (button) that works really well.

It doesn’t toast very evenly. But it’s inexpensive so i wasn’t expecting much.

The color is a bit off compared to other bella teal appliances. Toasting can be inconsistent with even a slight movement of the setting. You kinda have to find one suitable setting and leave it there. If the setting lever is bumped a tad to the right stuff will burn.

This toaster is about as hot as a toaster can possibly be. . And it toasts perfectly even too. And i’ve spent a lot more on other toasters that don’t do 1/2 as good a job. Thanks ‘bella’ and amazon .

I like the toaster and purchased because i just redid my kitchen and need some accent colors. I wish there was more red on the front because its difficult to even notice it is red when looking at it head on.

Nothing bad to say about this toaster. It does what it’s supposed to do. No issues with it after about 6 months of use.

Toasts like a toaster should. Goes well with my bella coffee pot. A nice combo for my kitchen countertop. What you see is what you get. And would re-buy if need be.

I purchased this for my parents. Their toaster at home is toast. I needed something not too complicated with buttons, dials and numbers. It is nice looking and the orange covering with compliment the kitchen.

I love the color and i love how fast it works. I saw a lot of complaints about it burning people’s food because it cooks so fast. But that’s what i love about it. I can toast my bagel in minutes or even seconds sometimes. You simply have to watch it to make sure it doesn’t burn. I’m such a last minute person so when i decide to toast my bagel 3 minutes before i need to walk out the door and it cooks as fast as this one does to where i still have time to cream cheese it before walking out the door, hey that’s an awesome product to me. The only thing i don’t enjoy about it, is that the cord in positioned right at the front of the toaster instead of the back.

I needed a new toaster, so i appreciate now having this one. But it is no different than any other toaster. Maybe toasters are all the same?.

Took a week to get the setting right the way i wanted it, and beware it will smell very chemically for the first little while. That does go away however and works great- also very stylish and looks good too.

This toaster added some much needed color to my kitchen and it does its job quickly and efficiently. It feels a bit low quality in terms of materials but it performs well and looks nice.

My daughter loves this toaster, partially because it’s her favorite color. It is very pretty, and she has used it already and it works great.

Purple toaster that heats bread. It works as you would expect and has a crumb tray that slides out to remove any bread crumbs from the appliance. It apparently comes in many different colors, but you have to go to their website as they may not be available on amazon.

I went to wal-mart and they wanted more for this toaster and they didn’t have it in red. I ordered this one, it arrived in hawaii within 4 days and i paid less than i would had i purchased it down the street. Needless to say i am a happy customer. It is exactly as described and works perfectly.

Black & Decker GM200 Gizmo Mixer : Great quality

I’ve always had trouble with the cords on hand mixers, and this solves that problem. It has the same amount of power as a hand mixer when on high, but could use a middle speed (instead of just high and low). A big plus is the swivel head so i was able to switch the hand hold without changing attachments or switching to a different appliance.

Our gizmo was purchased from amazon in 2006 for $25. It was plugged in 24 hours a day, no problem. The problem was a child who took it off the wall and began fooling with the charger and female plug. He managed to break the plastic piece that holds male plug in the unit. I spent hours to no avail to buy a replacement part. Sears carries 31 part for the gizmo but the male plug is not available. True the persons who have old machines can ask what they wish but you would be a fool to pay $200. 00 when there are many similar items for sale by hamilton beach and other manufacturers as low as $16. To pay 200 dollars for a 25 dollar item is simply stupid. B&d has a terrible web site and their service people are useless.

I wish this was still around. I received it as a wedding gift but cannot find it now.

Works great easy to use and plenty of power.

Item was shipped parcel post and i never got the package. Our post office is known for putting things in the wrong box and they say their records show it was picked up at the counter on december 11th and i was in spokane, washington on the 11th. I live in a 90% native american community and if they got the slip they would have still taken the package. I am going to file a complaint with the post office but the main thing is i did not get my product for whatever reason.

Black & Decker GM200 Gizmo Mixer : This is a great mixer for small jobs. Blending eggs, blending seasonings into soups, jello and puddings.

I had picked this item up 3 years ago and placed it right next to my stove for quick mixes and other little things to help with me in the kitchen. Makes or i mean mixes the best drinks you have ever had and cleaning is easy also. So amazon your my choice for whatever i need thank you.

I don’t think deproved is a word, too bad. The gizmo is a replacement for b&d’s handy mixer. Our handy mixer died about two weeks ago, not bad after 10 years so i ordered a gizmo. Old mixer had charging contacts in holder, new one was downgraded so you have to plug in the charger. New charging contact really cheapens the product. I found a wall wart that would charge the old one so it’s going back on the wall. If i didn’t have to destroy the plastic packaging to remove the unit, the gizmo would be on the way back to amazon right now. We were always happy with the way the handy mixer handles what we used it for and i wouldn’t expect the gizmo to be less useful, just not as convenient.

My fav part is after i mix something i can sit it on it’s flat part. And the attachment can drip over the bowl or measuring cup while i get something, like more ingredients. I do think the whisk is almost too unwieldy for the power & size of the mixer. I don’t like it that i’ve had it about a year and all of the attachment are rusted & i can’t get it off. It has 2 speeds, i never use the slow. I use it mostly for making salad dressing & little things.

Second time i have owned this product.

I had the original of this product and it was great. Yes, i did have to break the egg yolk with the one beater first, before mixing or beating them so as not to chase the egg yolks around the bowl, but honestly, i do this with a regular mixer. The original had four attachments but the three with this will do most jobs i use if for. I never used my first one for heavy jobs, just quick mixing of eggs, light batters, etc. The real draw back to this newer product is that the case to the original was wired and that is what you plugged in, the mixer just popped into the case and was charged. Having to plug the cord into the bottom of the new mixer is a pain.

Had an old b&d rechargeable mixer similar and was more user friendly but it finally gave up after about 10 years of use. So for the last several months i looked for a small rechargeable mixer and finally decided on another b&d mixer. Black & decker gm200 gizmo mixer. My wife says it is comparable to use as the older style but that she wished it was more like the old unit when putting it back into the charging unit to charge. This is now done by plugging in the cord for the recharge, (old units were contact tabs with no cord to plug in. ) all and all other then the charging of the mixer she likes the new b&d mixer and hopes it lasts as long as the mixer we replaced.

I bought this as a gift for a family member. I also have and use one often. It is a very handy unit, but it would be better if the battery charge lasted longer. Handy for quick stirs unstead of using a larger hand mixer.

The black and decker gizmo cordless mixer is my favorite gadget /appliance. It keeps it’s charge and is handy to retrieve and use. I have had one for many years.

I am very pleased by this product. This is the second one that i have bought. It is easy to use and charge. I would highly recommend this mixer. The price is great and the mixer performs better than expected.

Good product does not replace a regular double whip, but is very handy for scrambling eggs, mixing drinks, etc. My only negative is that the whips are not held securely on the stand; i mounted it on the back of a kitchen cabinet door, and if i shut the door a little too fast, the whips fall of all in all, i certainly would buy it again.

Works well, hard to find, price was really good ,totally pleased.

I use this almost everyday for the past 4 years. Expensive but worth the money.

We are now on our second one of these mixers, and they last several years. This is perfect for beating and egg or mixing a whey drink. No cords in the way – great battery operated mixer. We hope black-n-decker never discontinues this product.

Works fine, once you can get it pulled out of its holding case and remember to plug it back in when you put it back. Basic operation is a wall mounted holding unit, which the hand-held mixer fits into until you pull it out to use it, with slots below that to hold the attachments that you push into the mixer to do whatever it is you want to stir or mix or whisk. This is essentially a replacement from b&d of a unit they built 15-20 years ago, which had 4 inserts (this only has three, lacking the doodad that was shaped like a large rectangle on the shaft, which was excellent for mixing stuff). The earler unit (not this one) pulled right off the wall mount when you grabbed it, this one you can’t easily pull it out until you learn to slip it out be pulling on the recharging cord. And, the earlier unit automatically recharged when you snapped it back in because it had copper connections in the wall-mounted base unit that made contact with copper connections in the mixer unit when you placed it back in the wall mount. In a step backwards, the new unit that i’m reviewing has a plug-in cord that you have to pull out of the mixer unit (it won’t run with it in) when you pull it out of the wall mount to use it, and you have to plug the recharger back in, if you remember, when you place the mixer back in the wall mount. It works well when you get it out and get it running, but the design slipped from user-friendly to user-challenging.

Convenient, easy to use, takes up no storage space. I’m sure we’ll wear this one out as we did the previous b&d mixer.

BUNN Sunbeam SGS90701B 0 – Small and Perfect

When a manager at my job got fired he took his microwave and fridge with him. He allowed his to use those items. I didn’t know how spoiled i was so i bought one for myself to use along with my coworkers. It heats food and water up just fine. I’m pleased and it fits just fine and doesn’t take up much space.

Takes up much less space than our old full-size micro, but still offers all the functions that we need. The turntable is a great feature, too.

The interior is large enough to accommodate a standard plate and then of course a bowl or cup.

The cheapest, highest rated one i could find at the time (when my other low end microwave died after 10+ years of service). Nothing really to beam about. It does what it is supposed to in the time expected for a low power device. But, i do have some complaints. Though nothing offensive enough to warrant returning it. Brand new, out of the box it wobbled on my countertop. No adjustable legs to fix the issue. So, i affixed some spongy rubber pads to the front two sheet metal indentations which function as the front feet.

A little underpowered compared to my last microwave, but it is only 700 watts. Works well without any issues, some things you have to cook for a bit longer than the instructions call for.

This is a great microwave, albiet small, but does all that it is supposed to do. It is wonderful in small places.

  • A capable little low power microwave, with some irritating quirks
  • Does all you’d expect
  • Decent for the price.

After using this microwave for about a year i can safely say that it is excellent for the price. It does a good job of heating up food.

Not a great microwave, but it seems like the best in it’s price range, which doesn’t say much. Amazon is not a great place to buy a microwave, which is surprising.

I bought this for my daughter and roommates. They warm stuff up, bake potatoes and heat frozen dinners.

Love this microwave office , use it in my office.

I gave this as a gift for the people who work at a memory facility to use in their break room.

This microwave is great for the price. Works perfectly and fits nicely in a college apartment. The only thing i don’t like about it is how loud it is and how much it beeps. There is no way to adjust the volume and can be very disruptive when others are sleeping or studying.

Great value for a college student and just the right size. Fits into small spaces a cooks everything evenly and at the recommended time.

I wanted a cheap, effective microwave and this one fits the bill perfectly. I’ve only used the basic settings but it’s about $50 cheaper than buying a similar model from best buy/target.

I live in a tiny studio and i don’t have a lot of space, so this microwave was perfect for me.

A little disappointed in the quality, and size of the interior. When you open the door, you begin to wear away the thin plastic covering on some of the numbers close to the handle. Also feel it is a thin metal cabinet instead of the heavier cabinets, i have had before. Since much of my use is heating and reheating, i am sure it will serve that purpose.

Much better than the last small microwave, which just died. This one has the quick buttons for things like popcorn, beverages, and defrosting. You can also use anywhere from 10 percent to full power. Update: i do not like when i set the timer, and it pops back to the clock, so i do not know how much time is left. Otherwise, it is working great.

700-watt of cooking power with 10 adjustable power levels

Perfect size and adequate function. However, after i purchased it i found better deals at local stores with more watts. I needed a certain size that wasn’t available locally, but when the holiday sales came out. . Leo and behold 900 watt microwaves for the same or less money and the size i needed.

My review, as a buyer and user of the item,so amazon do not get involve/interfere/etc as a middle men in selling. Simple item, for simple use in less time, work and with patience. This microwave is very simple, not for the professional chef, mainly for warming food in readiness, lack of time and in hurry. Small microwave, for single person in fast life.

Very happy with my new microwave ,it’s the perfect size for me.

Really ‘sharp’ looking microwave. Very easy to use, light, looks great in my kitchen, a really nice product.

This was perfect for my elderly in-laws. They didn’t want a bulky microwave and this worked out perfectly.

This item arrived in perfect condition. Neat sleek lines and compact size make it a great addition to a college apartment.

6 auto cooking/one touch menu options

The plate for this microwave does not stay on the track very often. I actually have seen this microwave in other cheap places since i bought it and the plates don’t stay on the track of these either. If i had the choice to do it over, i would spend a little more money to get a higher quality microwave.

Nice product, small, good price for the product. . Too new to question warranty, or service needs but seems to be fine.

I love it got it on time and it’s easy to work and easy to clean food heats up fast thanks .

I bought this even though there were many reviews that were poor. Microwave broke within 7 months. I did purchase a warranty, but it broke when something startled me and i accidentally broke a hook off the door (thus making it impossible to close)since it was not a defect, but caused by myself. The warranty didn’t cover it. I honestly don’t understand how the hook even broke off, but i’d recommend getting a higher quality microwave.

It’s only 700 watts and we use it as a backup for less than reliable sharp mw drawer. I would recommend getting a unit with at least 1000 watts.

It works great and i am vary happy with the product. It is a perfect sides for a single person or for college student.

It’s smaller than i thought it would be, but overall it works great for our office.

Express cooking and weight defrost

This is a replacement of the preview cheaper version sunbeam. Just a reminder: it’s in really really small size.

This little microwave is just what i was looking for and at a great price. It has most of the features of a larger oven, but just how many of those buttons do you actually need?i do have a larger microwave for my long platters and over-sized containers. However, in most cases, this smaller one does the job well and takes up less counter space. If you need a second microwave or just want a smaller one with all the features you will need, then give this on a try.

It’s loud but it gets the job done. I’m very happy with this microwave.

Sunpentown SO-2000 Super Turbo Multi-Function Round-Shaped 12-Liter Convection Oven : Well made, not cheap plastic junk!!!

Does take longer than they say to cook whole chicken but is good.

This product works very well and cooks as advertised, what i love about this is. It does not use the electricity my oven does, does not heat the house like the oven. Cooks food well, ease of use, but the 1 con is, it could have a slightly larger capacity in the cooking bowl. I highly recomend this item for people who live fast lifestyles and likes the convinience of freezer food cooking or people who live in small kitchen spaced appartments.

Was shocked this product does everything it says it will do and more. The food tastes so good and cuts down my time in cooking.

I have owned these types of cookers before and always loved them and this one is no exception. It works great on all kinds of meats and everything comes out just wonderful and moist.

Sunpentown SO-2000 Super Turbo Multi-Function Round-Shaped 12-Liter Convection Oven : I would have given this a 5 star rating, but the table top oven didn’t come with a cookbook. So i have to guess as to what temperature and time setting. I have tried chicken, fish and beef, and either cook it too long or too short. It would be nice to include a more informative cookbook.

Gosh, my whole family loves this product. We’ve been making chickens, fish and beef. I think with all the oil that we will be saving it should be more then enough to pay for this item. Not to mention the health benefits to our family. I just placed another order for the 2002 for my mom.

Cooks well and i love the fact that it is glass so you can see your food while it cooks. The only thing is if you have a large family the food may not fit. The bottom rack does not cook as well as the first rack. Also, the owner’s manual is written in chinese. The instruction manual is in english though. Wish both was in english so i could read everything about it. I would recommend this item to friends and family.

I bought one of these after reading lots of reviews. My parents have had back and knee surgeries and aren’t able to get out a lot so the cooker was an early christmas present for them this yr. I found that in most reviews customers had trouble with the domes cracking to pieces. You can rest assured the only way the sunpentown cooker dome cracks is if you drop and break it. It’s made of the thickest glass that i’ve cooked with. My parents told me it cooks really fast. Fact it it saved thanksgiving this yr. Their oven had been tied up for 2 1/2 hr and the turkey was not even close to being done. My dad removed it and used the cooker for the first time. The turkey was fulley cooked in a short time, and also freed the oven to do other things.

So far it’s done a good job cooking. The only issue i had was the fan blades hit a screw head and made a lot of noise. I just bent the fan blades a little to fix it.

The only downfall is i wish it had a hinged style lid as my last cooker did. This one is a lift-off style so it is a little more inconvenient.

I’ve been wanting to try this type of oven since i saw the infomercial for a similar product. I was lucky enough to find it for $8. I have made the best chicken ever with this product. I bought an already seasoned half chicken from the grocery store. I set the oven for about 325 degrees and kept an eye on it for about 15 minutes. The skin was crisp and the inside was the juiciest chicken i ever had. Better than any restaurant, surpassing the oven and the other convection oven, better than the rotissirie chicken you get at the supermarket. I have been experimenting with seasoning combinations. I’ve also cooked a cheesecake that turned out great.

The little cookbook has 9 recipes does not show you how to cook anything in this oven. So how are you to know how to cook in this oven . I had to order a separate cookbook just to use this oven the first time. Do not order without a cookbook .

Easy to operate, efficient and lives up to claims if you know how. Very limited instructions and and totally unsatisfactory cook book — takes much searching the internet to learn how to cook with it if you are an inexperienced cook.

Bought this for the wife for christmas and she loves it. Large bowl that has a thick glass, cooks everything evenly and fast. Buy it, you will not be disappointed.

I have roasted my own coffee for more that ten years, and nearly all of the roasts are done in my ‘turbo-crazy’ roasters, built from stir-crazy popcorn poppers and sunpentown so-2000 convection ovens. The first so-2000 finally died after about 8 years of heavy use, and when i put my backup into service i purchased a third to continue to have backup (clearly i don’t want to run out of fresh coffee). If you are interested in roasting your own coffee, i recommend search the ‘net for ‘turbocrazy’ and using the so-2000 as a fundamental piece in building your own roaster.

I bought this in jan of 2012 so it’s getting close to 1 1/2 yrs of use a couple times a day. I’ve used these types of countertop ovens since the 80’s and have owned 5 or 6 of them. First off this is the loudest one i’ve ever owned and it concerned me when first purchased, but i have to say it’s the same now as when i bought it so if it goes another 5 years i’m not gonna care. The pad printed numbers on the timer are all but gone now in the less then 10 min area, but i have a good idea where the settings are now so don’t care about that either. The thing is this oven works. It’s easy to clean and the food quality is out standing. I cook alot and anything that will fit in this thing goes in. It’s outstanding for small loaves of bread, pizza’s and the like.

I’ve owned three of these ‘turbo’ ovens. When they work, they are great because they don’t use a lot of energy and don’t heat up the kitchen. My first one, from betty crocker, lasted about 15 years. The second, a supentown, lasted about five years. This latest, supentown model so-2000, lasted three years. For some reason, supentown changed the bowl on the newer model and made it a few millimeters smaller — unfortunate because the bowl is now too small to properly accommodate an 8×8 inch pyrex pan, which i use to make casseroles, brownies, etc. (actually, it’s a very tight fit, so tight you can’t remove an 8×8 with the supplied tongs and of course you need to use the tongs if it’s hot). I went out to storage and retrieved the glass bowl from the older model, which i’d saved, and placed it in service. The pans can be easily removed now, but the lid is a poor fit. Another criticism, mirroring others, is that the lettering on the lid rubbed off so now can’t see temp range or time range when setting cooking parameters: i just have to guess about time and temp settings.

Thank for your service, i love this one.

If it continues working it is great. The question is how long will it last?.

I own this product and i use it several times each week. My favorite meal to prepare is grilled garlic chicken, sweet potato wedges, and brussels sprouts. There are two separate grills for separating foods. I put the chicken in first, then add the potatoes and brussels sprouts the last 15 minutes. Everything is grilled to perfection and there’s no ‘blending’ of flavors so the sweet potatoes and sprouts don’t taste like garlic. I’ve baked brownies, banana bread, muffins, and cookies in it. I’ve also made meatloaf, eggs florentine, and even hard-boiled eggs in it. This and my coffee maker are the only two appliances i could never live without. The only con i have found is the weight of the glass bowl making it difficult to clean in a normal-sized kitchen sink.

I really liked the idea of cooking fast, oil free, healthier foods. I’ve over cooked a few things but that is on me to get better acquainted with the oven. The one thing i really don’t like is that the lid rattles during cooking time. It would be nice if there was some sort of seal so when the oven is going it doesn’t rattle so loudly.

Panasonic SR-G18FG Automatic 10 Cup, Not recommended to keep it on for warming the rice

This is an excellent cooker/steamer which can be used to cook for 6-10 people. We used this thrice since we bought this. The only thing to be taken care is that you should not fill unto 10 cups as mentioned. Should leave a gap of at least half a cup so that the water has enough space to boil. The non-stick surface is also good.

I bought this rice cooker for my parents. They don’t really eat rice that much, but my wife is from thailand and she cooks when we visit my family. I’ve used a lot of other panasonic products before and was pretty satisfied, so i decided to by this one. The price was very attractive, too. It makes a lot of rice, and the resulting quality is fairly good (i think it really depends on what kind of rice you use to begin with). It’s got only one button and it’s pretty simple to use. That’s another thing i was looking for. In fact, my mom told me that she occasionally uses it by herself now to make rice or even steam vegetables. It must be a good product since she’s gone from never using a rice cooker to using this one occasionally.

This is a great rice cooker. No nonsense, no frills, no bells and whistles. It does what it’s meant to do. It’s easy to clean and the nonstick coating is great.I’ve used the other ‘spaceship’ like rice cookers before and they are a nightmare to clean. This one goes right into the dishwasher. In terms of efficiency, i couldn’t have asked for a better engineered cooker than panasonic. I would recommend this to anyone.

, It’s a pretty good Rice cooker.

Excellent rice pot, especially for the price. We’ve bought one after another as gifts.

Product is expensive and no complaints on quality so far.

I had used a panasonic rice cooker that is similar to this one. It worked great for nearly 10 years and finally the non-sticky layer was worn out, so i bought this sr-g18fg 10 cup rice cooker/steamer. It works great so far just as i’d expect. I would definitely recommend this one to others.

I am very pleased with this purchase. First of all, the non stick surface is safe, healthy, and works excellently. When i cooked my first batch of rice with this cooker i was surprised that the manual calls for a 1 to 1 ratio of water to rice. With my previous experience i thought that this was absurd and that the rice would not be cooked thouroughly. I followed the instructions and the rice was cooked to perfection. I have not used the cooker for anything else besides rice, but so far i am very pleased. It is not only much safer to the health (i. No aluminum in contact with the food) but the clean up is much much easier.

Big enough to cook enough food for small parties. Overall this works well for me and my family.

I got this because my mother-in-law had one, and i really like hers. I love the convenience of this thing, however, it can also be a pain. The basic premise is to add the ingredients, turn it on, and leave it. However, no matter how closely i follow the directions, the rice will burn to the bottom every time unless i am constantly stirring it. If i wanted to stand there and stir it, i would just cook it on the stovetop. But wait, when i cook it on the stovetop, i don’t have to worry about stirring it, because it doesn’t burn. I am still giving it 3-stars, but only because i am sure that operator-error has something to do with this problem. When i figure it out, i will come update my review.

I am indian and i cook not only rice, but also dal (lentils) along with some spices etc. I have used many rice cookers before and i will say this has done a pretty good job at cooking anything i threw at it. I cooked white rice (indian sona masoori), basmati rice, brown rice, brown basmati rice, jasmine rice, cal rose rice, wild rice, masoor dal (red lentils), toor dal (yellow lentils), chana dal (split chick pea lentils), etc. This has done a great job at perfectly cooking everything. You have to alter the water quantity depending on what you cook. The regular 1:2 rice to water ratio doesn’t apply for everything. I know it because i grew up cooking different kinds of rice and lentils. But anyone can understand the correct ratio with a little trial and error. 1:2 ratio is a good place to start.

It worked well for 3 years before the grease at the bottom started coming out. So i think its totally worth the money.

Great product, fair pricing.

It cooks rice really fast (within 15-20 mins, it can cook 4-5 cups of rice)2. It makes the rice near the bottom a bit harder to chew (they become crusty). Not recommended to keep it on for warming the rice. It will make the rice harder and crustier.

The only reason i didnt give it a five is coz the pot is not as big as i expected. But cooks well and is definitely non sticky. Keeps food warm longer too, i’d say u’ll get ur value for the price.

Good cooker, very functional, works well, been using it for a year and never had a problem.

We had an earlier model that we have owned for 15 years and worked great but the non-stick was wearing off. This replacement unit is and updated version the same unit so reliability should no issue. Makes great brown rice – just be sure you add enough water for brown rice – otherwise the rice grain will be to hard.

I sell these to my offshore customers. They seem to hold up the best with all the abuse they get out there.

The fancy electronic models were seductive, but we opted for the very simple panasonic with an ‘on’ switch and the warming function. Following the directions, the rice is perfect every time. We have cooked in the full range from 3 cups to 10 cups and get the same excellent results regardless of batch size. Following the directions is crucial. We rinsed the rice using a strainer until the water ran clear. Next, we soaked the rice in the cooker for at least 30 minutes before turning on the appliance. Following this procedure, the rice cooks light & fluffy and does not stick to the removable container. The warming function keeps the rice in pretty good condition for at least 60 minutes. This cooker has some other features features that we have not used yet (eg, steaming vegetables simultaneously with cooking the rice) but based on the quality of the appliance and function in cooking rice, i expect nothing but excellent results.

If you are okay with the model, it’s a very good quality.

I had my previous rice cooker for 15 years using it at least 3 times a week. The maker of that rice cooker had been bought by panasonic, so i began my search for a new rice cooker by looking at the models panasonic made. I wanted a basic rice cooker with a ”keep warm’ feature. I have used it at least a dozen times now, and the rice has consistently come out very good with no browning on the bottom and no dry rice at the top. The only reason i gave this rice cooker a 4 instead of a 5, is because of the capacity limitations. I read the reviews before purchasing this rice cooker and saw that there was some problems with overflowing when making a full pot of rice. I normally make 6 cups of rice, and the pot is 3/4 full when it is done steaming. If i wanted to make 10 cups of rice it would definitely be too much rice for the pot. The nonstick feature makes cleaning up very easy with a sponge and some soapy water.

Rice would not stick to the bottom. Other cookers – ud have to soak it and wait for the rice to come out -. I have cooked rice for 10 people comfortably in this cooker – very efficient. The only problem i had was sometimes rice gets sticky – especially if you use the thai scented rice – i tend to leave the rice in for about 20 minutes after it turns to the keep warm mode- overall no complaints.

I have read the reviews on this cooker everyone said it is very good. I bought this from amazon but very much disappointed by the quality of it. The non stick coating was peeling off automatically and that too within days of purchasei hope amazon would ensure quality of the material sent.

Cooks fast, easy to clean, no complaints. Bought as a gift for someone, and they love it too.

This is a great rice cooker as per its price. Wonderful non-stick coating makes rice look wonderful.

KitchenWare Station KWS MS-6RS Premium 200w Electric Meat Slicer 6-Inch in Stainless Steel Blade : Very good quality. Slices perfectly!

I was looking for a home slicer to cut very thin slices (1mm or less) of a home made armenian sort of ham (basterma). This machine did an excellent job even though the basterma was frozen. It was easy to clean and the construction and materials used to build this appliance feels as it is something built to last, very good quality. My only concern is how long will the sharpness of the cutting wheel will last and if the sharpen process will be easy, but with that said, i really recommend it.

I’ve had this kws slicer for about a year and a half now. Just wanted to say this this unit has and still goes far beyond what i expected. Just did sliced bbq pork sandwiches with it again, can’t beat it.

I’ve had this slicer for 4 months now. I bought it to slice homemade charcuterie (lonza, bresaola, coppa, salami, etc. ) and i am very happy with it overall. After some practice, i am able to slice these items as thinly as a deli. In terms of cleaning, it is relatively easy once you are used to the process. Absolutely buy a pair of cut resistant gloves for this purpose. I also suggest buying a dedicated screwdriver to keep in the kitchen. Three phillips head machine screws must be removed before the blade can be removed for cleaning. You don’t want to hunt around for one when the time comes. My only complaint is that the ink on knob that controls slice thickness has started to wear off.

Excellent,so far i only used it once, but excellent little machine. Cuts paper thin, for great lunch meat sandwiches.

It’s a little difficult to clean but that’s true of all slicers. I’ve been preparing a couple of roasts at a time, slicing them and freezing them. You wouldn’t want to set it up and do just a couple of slices due to the clean up job. Getting gloves for handling the blade would not be a bad idea.

KitchenWare Station KWS MS-6RS Premium 200w Electric Meat Slicer 6-Inch in Red Stainless Steel Blade, Frozen Meat Deli Meat Cheese Food Slicer Low Noises Commercial and Home Use : It’s much heavier and better built than others i’ve tried. I like that all parts except handles are metal. I can slice my ham and roast beef nice and thin. I do not use this slicer for cheeses.

I’m not so sure about this product. It’s built well – all metal parts, quiet, sturdy. But when i tried slicing bologna and mortadella, the blade rotated the meat as it passed over the blade. The same thing happened with stick salami (2-inch diameter). Also, when the meat(s) get down to about a half-inch it won’t slice anymore and it pulls the meat down under the sliding tray and it gets stuck with the blade still turning. Dangerous and hard to remove. I had higher hopes for this machine.

It’s really well polished, better than the picture. Such a fancy slicer and really quiet when operating. This is my first slicer and it’s easy to use. Yes i would recommend it to everyone.

A great design and powerful machine. Cuts are very easy and as thin as you want. Had a meat slicer for years but this one is a dream to use.

Haven’t used it much because it’s just so cute. Bought it for work but took it home and have it on my kitchen counter.

The meat slicer is the perfect size for a household kitchen. We save so much money with this slicer. We buy the meat in bulk and fresh slice when we need it. Made in italy it definitely has the quality you expect. It fit nicely on the kitchen counter. I wish i could find a pretty cover for it.

Was thinking a six inch blade might be too small to be of much use, but was pleasantly surprised to find it does the job well. Turns out the blade measures 7 3/8′ diameter, not 6′. No you won’t get a whole turkey on it, but this is for home kitchen tasks. You can always cut it down to a manageable size. The handle on the slide tray swings up, so it will handle any length of product. It will cut to 5 1/2′ tall and 5 1/2′ wide. The mayonnaise jar shown 5 3/8′ round easily fits with room to spare. The tray handle is spiked on two sides for long items. The whole tray assembly can be removed by one knob. Under the support arm you will find two 10mm nuts, so you can adjust how close the tray clears the blade.

This works great for my frozen chicken breast jerky treats for my border collie.

The sliced piece of meat is the same as i expected, so it is recommended to use it.

Cuisinart SS-700 Single Serve Brewing System, Newer mechanics makes this better than the last

I’m giving cuisinart keurig five stars, but before you take that at face value, please read on. When i opened this device, i was so excited. I’d never owned a keurig before and this unit promised to give me access to any sort of cup i might want to use and make it all really easy. No problems, but i did notice some leakage on my counter behind the unit. Then it all started to go sideways on me. Suddenly keurig wouldn’t make coffee, he’d make a lot of awful sounds, but no coffee. Or he’d dispense less coffee than i ordered. Sometimes, he’d even give me twice as much as i wanted. Days and days and days of fighting with this thing had me ready to send it back to amazon. Until i lucked upon something incredibly tiny and incredibly stupid that i had missed — keurig had air bubbles in the line. Apparently that’s a big design flaw with these units. I learned that if i tipped keurig backward (just once, gently), i could move the air bubble to a place where it would come out and we’d get back to business as usual.

Bought one from amazon as a refurbished or returned unit at a 25% discount nearly two years ago. Liked it right from the start but didn’t write a review because of all the bad experience with keurig units due to the miss-application of particular valve leading to frequent failure. Our office has two failed keurig units up on the shelf, waiting for a miraculous recovery to happen, with the third waiting to go up there. They are replaced regularly. However this unit has continued to perform flawlessly and it gets a lot of daily use. We buy the k-cups in boxes of a hundred from costco, two at a time. We recently took the unit to a sporting event staying with friends and we got through around 200 k-cups over the two weeks. The machine rode in the bed of a truck over dirt roads getting there with no apparent harm. I can only speak for myself but like most of the things we’ve bought from cuisinart have been worth paying a little extra for and this one has made nearly two years with no visible decline. Questions have been raised about the miss-application of a valve and some people wondered if an alternative valve could be found. Does anyone think this one would work?.Com/gp/product/b00lgizkmi?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_sfl_title_2&smid=a1efvg3f7qz0w2.

Clogging issues – i did not read all the reviews so i am not sure if this has been addressed or not. My first machine lasted about 3 weeks before it would not brew a cup of coffee (just a small trickle). Note: this did happen after i switched to a new brand of kcups (starbucks). I returned it and received a new one – only to have the same issue within days. After a lot of google searching, i found a simply solution that works great. I bought a can of compressed air (like you use for cleaning keyboards and such) and when it clogs (which is quite often for me), i just open up the front and spray a few times into the area where it punctures the top of the cup. Other than having to do this (almost weekly), the machine works great. On a side note: i have the same machine at work and we have only used green mountain kcups for that machine and it has not clogged once in 6 months.

, Newer mechanics makes this better than the last

First, i have owned both versions of this product. The earlier version was known to have various mechanical problems; including pump failure, clogging, etc. I ended up throwing that one out a while ago. Recently, i bought a new ss-700 — because i really missed the convenience. What i can say is the newer models are different; they have different internal mechanics and it’s working great. The older model had a unique ‘groan’ to it when operating; the new models have a cleaner jitter sound when the water is being processed. Here’s how to tell if your unit is newer: look at the top of the box, it will say ‘packed on’ or something like that. So, if you were burned by the older units, don’t feel alone. But give the newer models a try.

When we first attempted to operate the unit water came out the rear over flow tubing, or whatever it is, pouring back into the tank all while nothing came out into the cup. It did this over and over again, my wife was ready to depart with it but i believed it simply needed to be primed. I must’ve ran the brew, hot water and rinse cycles over ten times and even started to pinch the over flow tubing in the rear to force water to the front. It eventually worked and this has been great since. Should this have been necessary, no. But for the low refurb cost it’s a bit hard to complain over a few minutes spent on priming. I’m even considering another one for work. So, if you’re experiencing a similar issue try to prime it as i did. It may take quite a few times but keep trying. I’ll update this if the unit decides to go downhill.

I’ve owned two keurig coffee makers. One is the mini that i’ve had for years. I was using it as a backup brewer. You have to pour water in each time you want to make coffee, and wait for the water to heat each time. I did tape a small line near the top of the reservoir on this coffee maker, because if you fill it too close to the top, it will leak out at the u-shaped cutout for the relief pipe near the top. The line shows the others in my family the maximum fill point. Cuisinart probably should have etched a line there. I purchased one of these coffee makers in october of 2015. In 2016, after about 14 or 15 months of usage, the pump failed. After corresponding with the cuisinart service folks, i sent the coffee maker in to cuisinart, and they sent me a new machine.

I usually do not comment on my purchases (unless something extraordinary is observed), but after reading some of the reviews on this machine, i was hesitant to go ahead with it. I finally purchased it for our office (about 8 people), and after almost a month of use, i can safely say that this is a great machine at an incredible price. It starts at 8:30 am and runs non-stop until 5 to 5:30 pm every day. It does the job with no issues or difficulties. It easily outperforms the keurig one i have at home. I am very happy with it and highly recommend this item.

I have had this unit for a few weeks now, and i have to say i am very satisfied. I admit i am a coffee snob, using a french press and bottled water exclusively for many years. The problem with that method is it is the least convenient method of making coffee. It requires not only time, but involvement to accomplish, and that makes it difficult to simply offer a cup to a guest while entertaining. I stayed away from the keurig systems in the past due to the cost, plastic waste and generally weak brew strength. Not enough coffee, not fine ground enough, water not in contact with coffee for enough time is a recipe for at best mediocre coffee. The strong draw is convenience and choice of beverage for a guest, and i realized not everybody likes a really bold cup. What sold me on this unit was that it comes with a mesh basket insert that you can fill with your own ground coffee. The mesh basket can hold almost double the amount of coffee the prepackaged keurig cups can, and i grind it fresh from whole bean to medium fine moments before brewing. Not quite a french press brew, but damn close.

When my keurig platinum k70 gave out after 3. 5 years, i wanted to buy it again – however – keurig had changed to their new models which use carafes and only accept ‘genuine’ k-cups. Old k-cup don’t work with their new 2. 0 systems and they don’t have the reusable k-cup for brewing your own ground coffee. I didn’t want that so i looked for my old keurig unit on ebay and other places. Everyone must love the older models because the price was double (~$400-500) of what i paid when i got mine. So i went searching for something else and found the cuisinart ss-700. What a surprise because it has all the features of my older model keurig. It’s all there – the 5 brewing sizes, the pull out base for larger mugs, the adjustable h20 temperature, the reusable k-cup for your own ground coffee, the ability to use your old k-cups, the same menu items and controls, the same screen display.

DeLonghi GM6000 Gelato Maker : Just okay.

This little baby makes the best frozen concoction i have ever had. You have to adjust recipes to your own taste, but it is well worth it.

Looks great and does everything it’s supposed to do.

DeLonghi GM6000 Gelato Maker with Self-Refrigerating Compressor

  • Make sure this fits
    by entering your model number.
  • No waiting for delicious authentic gelato with the self-refrigerating compressor
  • Immediately brings ingredients to temperatures below freezing and allows you to make multiple batches continuously
  • Produces the perfect consistency by effectively mixing ingredients from top to bottom with the patented mixing paddle
  • Easy serving and cleanup with removable stainless steel bowl
  • Energy-saving with efficient R134A refrigerant gas, it doesn’t deplete the ozone layer. It is non-toxic, non-flammable and non-corrosive

First unit came with some cosmetic damage. Amazon immediately shipped replacement unit and paid for return shipment, just dropped it off at the ups store. We’ve had the unit for a few weeks and have made many batches. It comes out smooth and dense just like the gelato i have had on trips to italy.

This is an easy, dependable machine, making great ice cream every time. It is a little noisy, but not as bad as others we tried. We keep ours in the bathroom next to the kitchen so we can let it run behind a closed door. It’s capacity is small, just one quart. At first this seemed like a drawback, but as it turns out, we do a lot more experimenting (potato chip vanilla ice cream). Because it is ready whenever and can make batch after batch i would recommend spending the money on this rather than the type with a freezable insert. This is also a very solid machine. We have had 2 different machines of our own and borrowed some from friends, this is by far the easiest to use, and not fragile, like some others.

This gelato maker is very easy to use. It comes with clear directions and a great recipe book. I have made 6 different batches of gelato in the last 4 or 5 weeks, with each result even better than the last, as i experiment with different flavors and add-ins. The compressor is a little loud, like using a mixer or blender. It’s easy to operate and cleans up easily, too. It’s large, and does take up a lot of counter space, so be prepared for that.

DeLonghi GM6000 Gelato Maker with Self-Refrigerating Compressor : My ten year old makes the recipes ahead and makes delicious gelato for us the next day. I love his enthusiasm for following directions. The results are most excellent.

I’ve been using this for several years. It is absolutely great for making gelato or ice cream or to simply chill or ice any liquid. Simply pour the ingredients in, turn the dial and in 5 to 15 minutes you have exactly what you want. For the keep it simple crowd, it’s amazing how juice or nectar quickly turns into a tasty treat. And, for the more adventurous, almost any combination of ingredients can provide an interesting outcome. I’ve been using it daily for about 10 years and it never fails. And it’s simple to clean, especially if you do so right after using it. If this dies, i will definitely get another one.

Ordered this in february, 2012. Some reviews concerned me but i followed the directions in the manual as well as some printed inserts about allowing the machine to remain upright and undisturbed at least one hour before using if the unit had to be moved before use. I believe the refrigerant sealed inside needs to settle properly in order for the unit to function. I also make sure the inner bowl is seated properly and prepare the surface below the bowl with vodka as per the instructions. In any event, i have been using this machine to make fabulous gelato ever since. I set my kitchen timer to 22 minutes and the gelato is typically done before then. The machine makes a quality gelato while incporporating as little air as possible into the product. I’m grateful the unit produces only 1. I would probably gain weight otherwise.

We can’t get enough of our beloved gelato. This machine is a little bit loud, but it works great; makes the perfect size batch of gelato for the 2 of us.

My friends think i’m an overnight maestro, but the recipes are simple, as is modification. The lemon sorbetmy only wish is that the capacity was greater.

I hadn’t made ice cream in years because i hated the mess of salt and ice with my old machine. The summer heat motivated me to make ice cream again for the family, so i began to review products that would not require using ice. I came across the reviews of the delonghi gelato machine and was very tempted, but the cost was more than i originally wanted to spend for a maker. Plus, the small output kept me from jumping on it right away. I’m glad i did though — it’s been a big hit with the family and my relatives. I’ve made over 20 batches in a month — it’s so easy and tastes great. The machine cleans up easily too. As for my initial concerns, you get what you pay for i guess. Also, the batch size in not a problem because i always mix enough for two batches and make them back to back.

This was one of the best presents i ever bought for my spouse, who is absolutely enthralled with it. The machine is well made and very easy to use. It consistently turns out ice cream that is heads and tails better than anything you could buy in a store. We have enjoyed all the basic flavors (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry) and have experimented with more unusual varieties such as coconut chip, peach ginger snap, coffee and donuts, and blood orange sorbet. My 13-yr-old son has even gotten into the act – making coke slurpees. The machine is quick, quiet and easy to clean. It arrived in perfect condition. We find ourselves making ice cream on an almost daily basis – which may wreak havoc with our waistlines (but always puts s smile on our faces).

As a careful shopper, i spent a lot of time researching over the holidays for a good ice cream maker. I didn’t want the hassle of the hand-cranked ice/salt units nor the ones that required pre-freezing the mixing bowl, so i concentrated my search on the self-refrigerating/freezing units. Based on reviews on various cooking and ice cream making web sites, as well as sites such as amazon itself, i narrowed my top picks to three machines:the cuisinart ice-50bc supreme ice cream makerthe whynter ic-2l sno 2-quart ice cream maker (oem for the lello 4090 gelato pro quart ice cream maker)the delonghi gm6000all three models are in the $200-$300 price range and received top marks from the various review sites. I am sure that one cannot go wrong buying any of these machines. For my personal choice however, i eliminated the cuisinart machine pretty quickly off my list due to the potential design problems of the mixer motor arm assembly mentioned in the reviews. Several reviewers commented on the weak mixer motor and/or mixing arm assembly. The problems might or might not be real. But i just didn’t want to risk it. I looked long and hard at the whynter/lello machine. Seems like a really good choice.

I gave this to my son and his wife for christmas, he made some ice cream that evening, since he didn’t have what he needed to make gelato. They have been making ice cream or gelato almost every day since they received it and absolutely love the machine.

So, eating gelato in italy, you can never compare the two but the machine comes really close to the texture. The machine is loud but not annoying loud. It’s quite big for such a small portion of gelato. I recommend putting the gelato in the freezer after the process. It comes out with a better texture. No ice cream maker comes close with making gelato. Only down side, yes the center piece is plastic, so you really have to watch the mixing process.

We bought this ice cream maker after trying less expensive ice cream makers. The difference is how the ice cream is frozen. This ice cream maker plugs in and freezes the ice cream in the unit. Cheaper ice cream makers require the user to place the mixing bowl in the freezer with the plan being that the frozen bowl will freeze the ice cream. Freezer bowls never got the ice cream cold enough for my taste, the consistency was more like a milk shake than ice cream. This model actually churns and freezes the ice cream with great results. I would buy again and will recommend it to friends.

This is a very good, easy to use machine. We followed the recipes and they turned out amazing. Having lived in rome, there is nothing that compares to gelato there, perhaps the authenticity of italianingredients makes the difference, but we made four gelatos in four nights and loved every one of them. Definitely transported us back to those heavenly times. We tried a recipe by giada which called for too much recipe for the container but will cut it down next timeand loved it the best (nutella gelato). I would definitely recommend this product as user friendly, nottoo noisy as people commented on other brands, and we are very happy we bought itnow my husband wants a $19,000 gelato display casebon appetito.

Made nutella gelato it’s our fav.

This was one of the best things i have ever bought. It perfoms just like it is supposed to. The plastic paddle gives me some cause for alarm, it really is not heavy duty. I just make sure i watch it when it gets close to the time for the freezing to stop.

Followed the book recipe for dairy gelato using a local dairy’s whole chocolate milk, reduced sugar a little & 1st batch too sweet but done in 20 minutes. 2nd batch with just a squirt of agave syrup instead of sugar- perfection. It’s a little louder than i anticipated, but so worth it. Totally earns it’s counter space. Small batch size allows experimentation without huge investment in ingredients.

Great price plus the gelato it churns comes out awesome tasting and a good quality. Had no problems being shipped came in a good condition but i did purchase another paddle just in case i need another paddle if the current one breaks.

Received my gelato maker with lightning speed after placing order. However, my machine was faulty and stopped churning during the first batch. Contacted amazon and returned faulty machine two days later. Amazon sent a replacement upon notificztion. Again fast shipping and the replacement works great. Makes great gelato and haven’t had any problems. We are working this machine daily since we received it. The temperature here has been in the triple digits thus making the gelato very refreshing.

Hamilton Beach 33140V 4-Quart Slow Cooker – works like I expected

Just the right size for the two of us. Would buy again for a gift would be perfect.

Compact but really heats the food thoroughly.

Aside from not having a timer, this is a great slow cooker. Works great and is very easy to clean and use. Extremely happy with this purchase. Here are the specifications for the Hamilton Beach 33140V 4-Quart Slow Cooker:

  • Make sure this fits
    by entering your model number.
  • Dishwasher safe stoneware & lid for fast, easy cleanup
  • 4 settings include off, low, high & warm
  • Perfect size for a 4 lb chicken or two 2 lb roasts
  • Stoneware is stainproof and removable for tabletop serving
  • Stoneware is suitable for refrigerator storage

I did not receive the one that is pictured. That was my main reason for ordering this product. I did however receive the silver base with the white stoneware. I am disappointed , but will keep.

Was not as heavy and substantial and i would have liked. The outside got dangerously hot, much more so than my other slow cookers.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • works very well
  • Bachelor guidance
  • Healthier than Fast Food & Tastes Way Better

I love this little crock pot. I had difficulty finding any crock pot that did not have a black crock. Have cooked with it twice now (meat and veggies). It cooks more quickly than a bigger crock pot but works fine.

Good little slow cooker for the price. Pros: cooks efficiently, has a setting for ‘warm’ which is a great feature when you never know when your husband is going to work late, perfect size for a family of 4, nice clean look to it. Most importantly it is exactly as described. I have had this product for about 2 months and use it three to for times a week -sometimes for a full meal or simply just to cook potatoes and have yet to encounter any problems – however there is on huge ‘con’ it gets extremely hot on the outside. I would not recommend for those who have children.

I have had it for a while now. It is a white crock instead a black one. I have used it on high and low and it has performed very well. I have cook a variety of things in it. I’m doing paleo as a step toward healthier living and losing weight. I have made spicy taco soup, spiced pumpkin lamb stew, and venison with sultanas (pairs raisins with apricots). It have done the best paleo chili con carne. Its secrets is the mole’ sauce with dark chocolate, cinnamon & maple syrup. Nothing beats coming home from a tough day at work to the smell of dinner cooking. And because you made it you can control what goes into it. Healthier than fast food and tastes way better.

Maybe this is large enough to prepare stew for 3 or 4 people … six if you serve the stew over rice or noodles. Nice looking and does its job.

Friend says he is pleased and the size of the cooker was right for 1 person.

Have used this slow cooker so often it is so handy. Most every cut of meat comes out very tender and flavorful. I put the insert in the dishwasher and it comes very clean. Nice to be able to use it to store leftovers in the fridge. Oval is nice takes up less room on the counter. Quite surprized that it didn’t look much like the picture.

I wanted to replace a slow cooker that had a degraded teflon coating. It was smaller, a bottom-heat unit. This one is just the right size and does a nice job. The interior dish does get stained with use, but otherwise it’s easy to clean.

Getting an ‘okay’ rating only because i am still getting used to this way of cooking. However it is good value for what i paid.

This is perfect for my wants. Big enough for a small roast or chicken andcan still add other ingredients, i. Stew vegies, pasta, sauces etc. , and nothave too many leftovers.

This slow cooker seems to perform as i expected it would. There were many positive reviews so i will admit that my expectations were high and i wasn’t disappointed. It is easy to use and easy to clean.

Sides do get hot but a lot of slower cooker sides get hot.

I had originally purchased a 4 qt crock pot slow cooker that only had 2 setting: super hot and boiling on the sun’s surface. This hamilton beach slow cooks beautifully and is very light weight, easy to clean, and even has a ‘keep warm’ feature.

It is cheaply made but it seems to work. The stainless steel is very thin and dents easily and gets quite hot. There are three ‘feet’ on the bottom which makes it tip if you stir the contents. The ceramic coating has impurities in it.

Bought as a present for my daughter and she loves it.

Great size for a medium family of 4 & enough for freezing leftovers.

My ex couldn’t make a roast to save her life. I don’t know why i thought i could, but it turns out i can roast up some bliss. For frame of reference (and to learn from my experiences) here’s what you’ll probably care about. When you buy a 4 quart slow cooker, that’s good for about a 4 pound roast. 5 pounder in there, but it’ll be mighty snug and may not work as well as you’d like. I have kids with hollow legs, and think i’ll soon be looking for a 6 quart slow cooker. Also- if you’re doing a roast, put it on the low heat and give it 8 hours. Yes, sure- you could use the higher heat and get the interior to 160f and eat it, but it won’t be the same. As far as the cooker goes, i like it a lot- easy to clean, convenient size, and versatile. The only thing i’d ask hamilton beach to change is to add a power led or something that will make it clear from across the room if it’s on.

Nostalgia KRS6100SS 6, With some upgrades it definitely serves the purpose

Have a lot of problems w/the c02 leaking.

Great kegerator for the price. It keeps the beer very cold. Two neg things, kegoretor can only hold two 5 gal kegs it will nit hold a 5gal and 7 gal slim keg. Popular lite beers only come in a 7 gal keg.

Out of the box this thing is relatively poor. I am a homebrewer so a lot of the pieces it comes with i didn’t use. The c02 tank is small and has strange fittings. But i had my own 5lb c02 tank so it didn’t matter. I already had quality lines so i replaced the cheap ones it comes with. I put a bunch more insulation into it after i removed the taps to fit them with my own lines. I didn’t have any dents or anything on mine, and overall it looks good. However, if you want a kegerator to fit with commercial kegs and use out of the box.

“A decent residential Kegerator
, Good, but not straight forward
, So far so good

. Fails to get cold enough even with set on coldest. (never gets below 45 degrees). I am going to add an external fan on the condenser (evaporator???) to see if that helps. . Built for a price point (i paid around $500.

By complete surprise, a friend of mine found this kegerator on serious clearance at a local ‘members club’ that rhymes with yams. They had one new in the box for 199. 00 which my friend bought, and they sold the display model for 149. I was lucky that most of the assembly had already been done since it was the display. Once home, i had only one issue and that was that the guy who assembled it at the store apparently lost all of the screws for the tower. An email to nostalgia was quickly answered and the (free) replacement screws arrived a few days later. I will agree that getting the right pressure is a little tricky , matter of fact i might still have it a little low but it’s ok. The kegerator temp stays at about 35 degrees, and i keep all my glasses in a freezer so i have no issues with having a cold beer. I don’t know i have nothing to compare it to, but it has served us fine for our needs. I would like a bigger co2 tank just so i would not have to have it refilled as often, but the welding shop i go to is convenient and it’s about. Side note: i browsed the instruction book, but chose to follow the instructions i found in video form on youtube.

I special ordered mine from home depot to avoid shipping charges and only paid $525+tax. I was disappointed when i saw the 2. 5# co2 tank but when i took it to airgas, they exchanged it for a 5# free of charge. The regulator it came with isn’t all that great but after replacing the flare connects with barbed, it works fine. As for the beverage lines, i just cut off the sanke fittings and crimped on swivel nuts for ball lock disconnects. I also dig the auto faucet shut offs. I think the faucets are taprite but i’m not sure. They did get stuck on me after not using it for a few weeks, but some wd-40 and keg lube fixes that. For the money, this is the best kegerator on the market. And you can always buy two 1/6 barrel sanke kegs if you don’t want to change the fittings out.

I brew beer so having something that keeps it cool and pours beer is what i wanted. The co2 tank it self did not leak. People that talk about co2 leaking don’t know about plumbers tape and don’t know how to check for leaks in the tank or the lines. It’s easy to search how to online. It took a little research and know how to switch to a ball lock keg. Once i figured it out it was easy. I recommend getting a beer tower cool to cut down foam and a inkbrid temp regulator.

I dont know what ppl are talking about on here. The only prob i have with it is that i get a lot of foam from the tap. After following the installation instructions and such, ive prob put a good 2hrs altogether into adjusting the regulator psi. When i get it to the point of pouring with a good head, its just trickling out of the tap.

Great product and pretty easy to assemble.

This nostalgia kegorator arrived promptly and seemed to be mostly what i expected, but i ran into a problem when assembling my unit. One of the co2 connectors did not have any threads tapped into it. It’s clearly a manufacturing defect, since the second co2 connector was threaded and connected ok. I’ll gladly change my review from two-stars to five stars if nostalgia quickly replaces this defective tube assembly. Just spoke with a nostalgia customer service representative who was very cooperative and agreed to send me a replacement co2 line. I’m changing my rating to 3 stars for now.

It is a beautifully constructed, impressive looking and fun piece. We’ve had some problems with the hoses we got with the kegerator maintaining co2 pressure, so we are working on giving it a thorough cleaning.

The co2 had a leak for the first few weeks. I had no way of contacting you for help. I finally just got the leak fixed although i wasnt happy it came with a broken seal.

Back corner was dented so it wobbles but still functional.

I ordered the double tap kegorator for my husband for our anniversary. We have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. There’s nothing like coming home to an ice cold beer. To me, beer tastes so amazing out of a tap versus a can. The only one slight downfall is our region doesn’t offer many beer selections in the small ‘torpedo’ size kegs and if i knew that before i ordered i probably would have just ordered single tap instead.

I bought this model for my boyfriend, as a college graduation present. I picked it because nostalgia was rated pretty high on the list for a kegorator. I finally chose is because i liked the look of it and, honestly, it was a little cheaper. It works perfectly fine now but the set up process was a pain, to say the least.Non of the screws fit, a couple of the pieces we had to ‘alter’ to make work and frankly don’t even try to read the instructions, they didn’t help at all. But after a trip to the hardware store and some help from people with there own kegorators we finally got it working properly, but we definitely had to jerry rig a few things to make it look nice. A few fixes would make this a top kegorator. Work on it a little more nostalgia.

I bought a sperate digital thermometer and it says its keeps the beer at 37 degrees which is perfedt for me.

This replaced an old 3 tap beverage aire commercial kegerator i had go out on me. I didn’t want to spend $1500. 00+ for a new commercial quality one, so i opted for this unit. I’ll list the pros and cons as i see them. 3) good range of temperatures (approx. )4) uses half the power of my old kegerator. 5) actually hold (3) home brew kegs (5 gallon). 6) good quality dual gauge regulator. 7) so far seems to be reliable. 1) co2 tank is too small (2.

Showed up with a small dent in the front panel. Mildly loud and could get a little colder. Other than that, it worked fine for the first two kegs.

Before you buy this know what you are getting into. The tower unit is almost impossible to get installed. You have to completely remove all of the parts so that it will fit through the whole and attach to the top of the unit. It is not part of the instructions. The pictures make it look like it just slides in. But unless the laws of physics have changed, you can’t push a larger circle through a smaller one. This is not easy and took me several hours to get it right. You also have to remove the top plastic cover. Three screws and and 3 hidden latches attach it. Again, not part of the instructions.

There was a review here earlier that explained it very well so i’m copying a few pros/cons – first the pros. 3) good range of temperatures (approx. )4) decent dual gauge regulator. 5) so far seems to be reliable. 1) co2 tank is too small (2. It is also hard to refill tanks in my area so you have to be on an exchange program anyway with 5 lb2) cheap quality beer lines. (i recommend you replace them w/ 5-6 feet of 3/16′ i. High quality beer line)3) cheap quality gas line. 5) black plastic top seems cheap. It actually sits a little low so the front door doesn’t close perfectly.

Overall i’m happy with this kegerator. It keeps the beer cold and was easy to setup. First, i’m using homebrew corny kegs so i did not really test or use the tubing or keg fittings that they provide. Maybe i will some day, but that wasn’t my intent. Second, the beer tower will not keep the lines cold. This is not unique to this product, but similar for all kegerators in this price range. (hot air rises) i built a cheap fan to circulate cold air there and things are working great now (just look for cooling keg tower on the internet). Third, for me in particular, it took a lot of trial and error with keg pressures and beer tubing length to get a good poor without it being all foam. So, while i feel the product is good, know that it is probably not as simple is just buying it and it will be perfect from day one.
