KitchenAid KFC3100OB Chef Series 3- Cup Food Chopper – Cute little bugger

Only used once but so easy to clean. Made some chicken spread, liked the texture odthe meat, finely ground but not mushy. Unlike a different chopper with ridges in the chopping cup, this one is smooth so scraping out food is a snap and goes right in the dishwasher.

I’ve used this product for several years now and it still works very well. For smaller quantities it’s a great convenience not to have to use a full size food processor. Bowl, lid and blade all wash well in upper rack of my dishwasher.

I chop up peppers and onion and store them for quick egg white omlets for breakfast. Takes up very little room on my counter. I’m sure i’ll find lots of uses for it. Here are the specifications for the KitchenAid KFC3100OB Chef Series 3- Cup Food Chopper:

I needed a new chopper for a long time and couldn’t turn this down when i saw it in the gold box deal. Makes cooking so much faster when i have a lot of chopping to do. I saw on some of the reviews that it quit working because the locks wouldn’t lock in, so it wouldn’t start. For that reason, i’ve been hand washing just to be extra careful. I find it easy to keep clean, tho, and have had no trouble with it at all.

I absolutely love this product it is so handy for mixing half a cup or a cup of pecans or whatever you’re chopping no big appliance to sit on your counter. I have had one for eight or nine years and decided to buy a second one just to have it on hand i would definitely recommend this to anybody that is chopping and grinding things for small amounts of food. It is so durable are use it at least two or three times a week i would highly recommend it to anyone.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Favorite durable #1
  • WELL WORTH THE PRICE!!!
  • Wife’s new toy and I enjoy all she makes

Works awesome and thank you so much.

Bought this for my mom before thanksgiving and she was unconvinced that she would need a machine to do something that she could do by hand. But the small size, ease of use and speed at which the chopper got things done convinced her otherwise. I like that the bowl has a handle – makes it easier to use compared to the old cuisinart i have at home which does not.

So far, i am very happy with this purchase. It holds a bigger quantity than my previous mini chopper and does a better job. I ordered the red model because it was a few cents cheaper and love the way it looks on my counter.

I had one for a few years now and used it all the time. Broke the blade through no fault of the chopper (accident) and that is the only reason i needed a new one. I didn’t hesitate to replace it right away. It’s just the right size for most recipes since i only cook for two. I would recommend this whole heartedly to anyone.

Went through two choppers, one tv brand broke after fourth use, black and decker broke after second use. I have had a kitchenaid mixer, my mother’s which is over 50 years old and it still works as if it is brand new. So i ordered the kitchenaid chopper, it should have been my first choice. Have a 3/4 acre garden, freeze green peppers, banana peppers, onions, etc and believe me i have really put my chopper to use. What a pleasure, what a great product, what was wrong with me not buying it first. I love it and it just keeps going and going and going. It is a kitchenaid what can i say except excellent.

I received my kitchenaid 3 cup processor yesterday. What a difference from the cuisinart. This kitchenaid processor right out of the box, is notably better quality, and after using it a few times, the kitchenaid works so much better than the cuisinart. Yes there is a difference in price, but it’s worth every penny of that difference in quality. I read a review that said well you can’t expect the little cuisinart mini to do what a big processor can do. I certainly do expect the mini processor to do what the big ones do. The kitchenaid 3 cup will do as well as the big processors.

I don’t use a food chopper much so i don’t need a huge one. Generally the others that i’ve owned have been large and heavy and obnoxious sitting on the countertop. This one is the perfect size. It’s perfect for chopping nuts for cookies, onion for a meal, etc. I love it, now to keep my daughter away from it.

Shipped quickly and arrived as expected. Bought this as a replacement to one we currently own. Major mishap with the plastic assembly on our old one made it unusable. This is invaluable to us in the kitchen. Good quality and great functionality.

This unit is a hummus machine from fresh dried garbanzo beans that we purchased on amazon as well. With some seasoning, we can rival the product offered an many restaurants as an appetizer in the dfw area. We are very please with the ease of operation, the speed of chopping and most importantly the ease of clean up. Many devices are not used because it takes longer to clean it than the time is saved in using it. This one is a gem and we use it multiple times a week without worry due to the warranty on the product. Thanks kitchenaid and amazon.

This is my second kitchenaid chopper. I gave the first to my daughter thinking it would be easy to replace. I finally found this one which was the same as the first, except this new one is red.

Takes up less space on counter. Hardly ever us my standard sized food processor any more.

After having a kitchenaid mini chopper for years, using it mainly for making pesto, chopping onions, and grinding nuts, the little locking tabs broke. I bought a different brand, because it was much cheaper. The first time i used it, i knew i had made a mistake. The blades just spun around, leaving the basil leaves unchopped, the pouring hole was too small, and oil spilled all over the counter. I returned the piece of junk (which had been ‘sponsored by food network)and went back to this tried and true, reliable piece of equipment. It is called a ‘chopper’ and kitchenaid has a full size processor if that’s what you need – but this is perfect for the smaller jobs, and makes an incredible homemade pesto in particular.

I have a full-sized food processor that works poorly, and this little number has saved me several times. It’s compact, easy to clean, and tears through most anything. I’ve used it to turn home-made oatmeal cookies into pie-crust and used it to bring together a pesto sauce. I also respect the company for going the extra mile and including a little spatula.

This is a very handy appliance for my kitchen and i love the red color. It is so easy to use and does a good job of cutting up vegetables, meat, nuts and any kind of food that is safe to use. I have used it for several years and really appreciate the help it gives me in preparing foods.

Great little processor with lots of power but the pulse button sticks so i will have to return it. Aside from this issue, it seems like a good little machine. I will chalk it up to a ‘defect’ and won’t be too harsh. I barely touched it and it slashed my finger.

So happy to have found the kitchenaid chopper. I love the one purchased several years ago and decided to find a future replacement. I received it right away and it is just as i hoped for.
