Juiceman Citrus Juicer : Arrived w/ Broken spout

Light weight, easy to clean. I have citrus trees and fruit is ripe for juicing.

Purchased it because i borrowed my sil’s for about 6 months before i finally realized i really needed to just get one of my own. This one has even better features than the older model. Love the fact you can flip up the spout to stop the flow – no more drips on my counter. And having both the small and large reamers is exactly what i need for juicing limes, lemons, oranges, and grapefruit. The reverse rotation means i get every last drop out of the fruit. You don’t have to worry about teeny, tiny holes or getting the mechanism wet because everything lifts straight off the top and goes straight into the sink.

Nice price and good quality with one exception. As soon as it arrived, we juiced enough lemons from our tree to produce seven liters of juice. Though the spout did not break as noted in some reviews, it failed to stay securely in place. When tilted up/back, it did not stop dripping as it was designed to do.

Never before fresh orange juice has been this handy . You’ll love it there’s no hassle. Takes less than a minute to make one full glass of orange juice. It is as easy and simple as filling cup with water. So anytime during the day, you want to have a drink, your juice is ready. I personally love how simple it is to use it with the whisky for an evening/weekend drink (fresh orange/lime juice is always healthy ).

  • Juiceman vs Black & Decker
  • Faulty design.
  • Don’t steal your sister-in-law’s juicer – buy your own!

Juiceman Citrus Juicer, White, JCJ450

  • Make sure this fits
    by entering your model number.
  • Two Juicing Cones – For citrus big and small! The large cone works with oranges, grapefruits, and other large fruits. The small cone is perfect for lemons and limes
  • Auto-Reversing – The juicing cone reverses direction each time you press down on it. This ensures maximum juice extraction from every piece of citrus
  • Pressure-Activated – Juicing begins when you press citrus onto the cone. It’s that easy!
  • 40W of Power – The durable motor provides the perfect amount of power for quickly juicing citrus
  • Pulp Strainer – Pulp is separated during juicing so you can add in as much as you want or use it in breads and other baked goods

This is a comparison between this and the black and decker cj625. Both are made out of plastic so it’s hard to say how long they will last. The b & d has a container so that the juice stays inside the juicer until you pour it out. The juiceman has a spigot which can be opened or closed. The juiceman may have a little bit more oomph. Both have two juicing sizes. The real advantage of the juiceman is that it is so much quieter. The juice man is more vertically designed and the b & d more squat but they both look ok on the counter. Both come apart in the same manner.

Powerful little guy and easy to clean. I’ve been on a citrus kick and this little guy does a great job with citrus when i don’t feel like dragging out my omega juicer. Very easy to use, very easy to clean.

I use lemon juice , 20 – 30 lemons a week for varies dishes including making tea and lemon water, while it does not filter out all the pulp, for my lemon water, i strain it with a stainless steel mesh colander, but for cake or jam, i just leave it as it is. If your looking for full pulp remover, this is not for you at all. When i was hand squeezing i still did the colander, so to me its not an extra step. I love this its a life saver , i had gone through 4 others, that i returned because they were. Obviously not going to be as easy to clean and with this, there is no hidden places for it to mold.

It is a bit messy and doesn’t quite get all the pulp, but it really is smooth and its fantastic. Juices soft fruit to hard carrots and roots. Honestly, we returned a $400 juicer and bought this one and it works just the same.

I don’t need to squeeze a lot of lemons, oranges, or limes very often. If it’s just a squeeze of lemon for a recipe that requires 2 tablespoons or less of juice, i just squeeze it in my hand or occasionally use the manual juicer. Much as i love this device, it’s more trouble than it’s worth for such a small amount. Easy to use, easy to set up, easy to clean, easy to store. I have a recipe i love that requires a full cup of lemon juice but i only made it once or twice a year because it was so much hassle to squeeze all those lemons. But now i make it frequently thanks to this device.

Works great, easy and quick to clean which is so important to me.

But back bracket that holds spout in place was broken off. Only one side of each bracket, both sides, was in it. I ordered this one for my grandmother to replace hers that finally wore out. She has loads of lemons from her tree to juice. 7, 2016 — within 2 days i received a new juiceman from the seller. I have 30 days to return the defective one i received first. I have tried the new one and it works perfectly.

This juicer is great, very easy to use and easy to clean, which is a must for me. Has two attachments for small or large citrus, i love mixing fresh grapefruit with fresh orange juice. This is an inexpensive way to get fresh juice daily.

Easy to pull apart, clean and put back together. I bought it to juice berries, and it does not extract all juice from berries, so i have to then pull pulp out and extract extra juice. However, it does make the process quicker. I think it is quite odd that the “low” setting is a turn past the “high” setting?.

I am happy with it but i wish it were more adjustable with glass sizes. If your glass is not tall enough to fit the upper tray where the juice comes out from it will spill out and make a mess. But no worries you can always get the right size glass. Other than that it’s a good purchase and the price is also worth it.

Love this little juicer but had trouble taking it apart to clean. I found that putting a kitchen towel over it when pushing the blade unit off does keep this part from ending up on the floor. After using it a couple times it did became easier to remove but a release lever would be appreciated. . My spout did leek at the unit junction but i have found that a little calcium build up resolved this problem. All in all i love the small size and really like this machine. It is fast and does a good job of juicing. This is a wonderful way for me to cut out some of the fiber and enjoy more nutrition with the raw veggies i now drink instead of cooking and losing so much of the wonderful nutrition that comes with raw vegetables.

For me, it’s perfect for making a small daily morning juice to take to work. This is not a heavy duty juicer. Pro: compact, fits nicely on the counter, easy to disassemble, has handled all the fruit and veggies i’ve used so far including peels on apples, sweet potatos, etc. Does not work well for the finer leaves such as parsley, mint, curly kale.

Super good juicer, easy to clean. I get a lot of juice out of just one orange.

For a non-frequent juice person like the me it works fine considering the price. It does not has heavy power and i did had to hand squeeze the orange half from time to time while using the machine to improve the juice extraction. Only thing i really don’t like is that the opening for the juice to get to the glass (spout) is so small that it just clogs in 3 seconds. I had to remove the whole piece and pour the juice in a glass because the spout never worked.

overall: it makes great juice, and it’s good that the parts are dish washer safe. Pros: cheap, 2 year-warranty, easy to clean, makes great juice. Cons: too light weight, so sometimes if the orange gets stuck the machine will move really easily, and the juice will split all over the place if you are not careful. Also, the part where the juice comes out is too short, so sometimes the machine will get dirty when the flow is slow. Also, the machine is too short, so you can’t use a juice jar to store more juice, just small glasses/cups.

First use we didn’t realize there was a juice catcher, thought it was like the old one that holds the juice until you’re done. Good power and great design. This is for lemonade and orange juice (and grapefruit too if that’s what you like).

I have used this three times now on both oranges and large grapefruit and it works beautifully. However, the true test will be how long it lasts. So many of these kinds of products bite the bullet after 6 months, when they should last much longer. And because of amazon’s unrealistic return policy, you’re out the money.

Happy with product works okayhusband said spout should be longer.
